Cinnamon trees can be found beyond the WOW building, on the Western Plateau, and at the far ends of Somber Marsh. There are also a few where the desert turns into grassland, where the exploding spiders are. Let me know if you need more specific instructions. Basically the "north" end of the map except the desert.

they are hard to spot until you get accustomed to the appearance. they are not as common as other trees. in spring-summer-fall, they have yellow flowers but in winter they do not. The easiest way to identify it is by its bark. The rubber tree, apple tree and honey tree all have smooth bark. The cinnamon tree has bark with knobs sticking out of it. So does the tree that gives purple resin. However, the purple resin tree has greyish-brown bark and the cinnamon tree has a honey-brown bark. There are also some trees, especially in the Somber Marsh, that have knobs and give nothing but ordinary wood. You'll have to wach for those.

Try locating some of them by their yellow flowers first, and then examine the bark before felling the tree.
