How on earth do I get the Blender?

OK, so according to the Wikia on MTAP you give 5 data discs to Petra and wait a couple days to get the Blender blueprints, but all I seem to get is random stuff like a Fish Tank or a furnace I don't need. I really need the Blender as I have to mix dog food for Scraps and I also need it to make Pigments for one of the special commissions. Is it literally just random or is there a specific thing I have to do or say with Petra to get the plans?

Yeah I got them all. Although I'm unsure about the point of the Fire Furnace thing, doesn't seem to power anything and now I have to make another Civil Furnace...

The fire powered generator and any machine you want it to power has to be sitting on conductive flooring to connect them.

Yeah did that too - but the existing fuel still depletes. It's no biggie though I have enough fuel to power them regardless.

Weird. Each FPG should run 2 machines at 100% power until the fuel in the FPG runs out. I fuel mine with hardwood.

What? You got FPG before Blenders!? If that's the case it's really pretty screwed, lol. I got mine before FPG was introduced so I don't know the arrangement now. But if i'm not wrong, the blueprints you get from Petra is fixed according to an arrangement.

Yeah, but I went to the next tier immediately, so that might be why. When I could do 10, I did 10. 25, 25, etc.

So by the time I went back down to the 5s, it was winter

From what I read on the wiki, it seems the exact number of discs you give to the RS affects the available outcomes. Blender was 5 I think.

That is correct. Each technology is tied to a specific number of data discs.

Generally, the safest course is to pick the cheapest ones first (5 discs -> 10 discs -> 20 discs).

It is really annoying to have unlocked an expensive tech, if you can't build it because it requires a resource from a new level furnace or an upgraded cutter that you don't have.

I think I saw the blender when I had the lvl 1 workstation but I didn't build it. Then I upgraded to lvl 2 and now it's gone. I'll try to get it back by giving Petra 5 disks at a time again. Hope it works ;)
