I thought it was during the Coma? I haven't checked it myself but I know it has to do something along the line after you failed getting the medicine for her.

Because it's kind of stupid to have her die when you try and marry her considering her relationships gains are one of the hardest to achieve...

I can't confirm as I am not that far in a relationship with her, but in the previous build she is still alive even after you failed the mission getting the medicine. So in this update, if they updated her quest, within time limit, you must get the medication in this update or else she will be on her last breath.

I'll go visit in a little bit and see how.

At least to me it's from digging through the files that I know so far. I think their final live update mentions about Ginger has a new quest update so it could relate to that. For now, I have to wait until Gust kicks my front gates...

There is an achievement to get her family's approval. Also, I married her and after the update no quests popped up so...

Interestingly, there were two more achivements added on Jan 15, but they were removed again on the morning of Jan 16, both of them concerning Ginger.

well there are some files about her funeral but no one actually see that yet include peeps who finished the game recently. Sooo who know.
