Blade Fish King and Blue Mackeral King

I have been fishing for all the king fish and when i looked on the wiki to see all the appearences and for the most part it is very noticeable on all other king fish, but these 2 have barely any difference at all. Like the blade fish just has a slightly different color tail, abd the mackeral just has a darker purple color which is barely noticeable. i managed to catch the blade fish by making sure to catch every blade fish until i got it and I only noticed i has got it b/c it was more difficult to reel in. I think there should be a more noticeable difference in these 2 fish since it takes so long to find them even with the fish encyclopedia perk which shows you the fish and iif people dont have that perk they are going in blindly.

yeah lol the chances of getting it before were worse it used to be a 0.23% chance or a 0.15% chance depending on the fish which ended up being 1in 435 and 1 in 667 for the king blue mackeral it took me like 500 fish to get which was close to the 667 took like 2-3 in game weeks. They just need a better visual clue.

The blue mackerel is pretty noticeable, a much darker blue.

Blade fish however is really awful, there's only veeeery slighty more pink on the tail. Same for the lantern fish, with some scales on its underbelly.
Firefish is hard to notice as well, just a couple spines on its head.

And I think there's a problem with the bubblefish, the emperor and king have the same icon, just with and without the star. The emperor should be pink, for consistence sake.

when i caught the king blue mackeral it also had spines on its back they could just make it have the spines on the image since i have the fish enclyclopedia.

Yeah, the icon doesn't look anything like the fish. Kinda like the golden salmon, the king is much fatter, but the icon is still thin like normal ones.

My favorite place to fish for money is the desert oasis, as it has gladiator and wise fish, very easily noticeable, and golden salmon, fairly easy to see as well

yeah it took a while to get all the king fish but still they should not have made such slight differences to the fish that can takes hrs to get i think it took me 12 irl hrs to catch them all that was fishing from start to finish except time to get commissions and have it built in the factory auto thing. I even skipped events in game to fish.

You get the master fishing rod from turning in all emperor fish so the ones that have a star. At least that is what it used to be

The Blue Mackerel King has spines along his back on the icon. I picked up on the difference right away and I'm badly near-sighted too.... so, yes, I feel your pain. lol. My guess is that there will be mods to help with this kind of thing in the near future. There are already some pretty nice ones out on Nexus, it's just a matter of time.

Frog Fish King is quite similar too, didnt even notice it was king until I already caught it.

They must have updated the mackeral image then b/c when i caught it there were no spines lol.
