Mods!

Not sure how many of you may or may not of noticed this, but mods are being made for the game right now. Nothing out of this world, just a couple basic mods. But the point is, it is possible.

I'm generally not a fan of using mods,
but I'd like to hear the dev's stance on it being used. I'd hate to see people get banned for it.
and will there be workshop mods in the future?

Personally I hope not.

Why would you worry about people getting banned for using mods in a single player game? As for workshop support, I doubt it. Pretty sure they've said they have no plans to add modding support for the game.

I hope that there will be more mods. There are so many creative and talented players who can help to add new things and life to the game.

How're you gonna get banned from an offline-only game?

There can't be real mods. No new assets, missions, characters etc. The only 5 "mods" out there are just minor gamefile tweaks.

I hope the devs add modding support. There are so many players who like to bring new content to the games they enjoy

Just wanted to say thanks for pointing out there where actual mods, I'd never thought to check! I'm running the Advanced Graphics Options mod and it's really helped with a load of pop in and graphical issues that have been bugging me.

if you go to their official forums, there is a post asking if mods were allowed, and they said yes.

But I doubt it will be much through Steam and Steam workshop, due to Unity. Mods will have to run through Unity mod manager

Game needs more mods. Nothing to do. Go to sleep at 10am just to hope i have something to do the next day, and its only summer of year 2 @_@

Mods can seriously extend the life of a game, but its important to realize that this game is still undergoing changes and likely will for a very long time. that being said the mods that are offered on nexus are pretty solid even without mod support. i am looking forward to seeing more from the nexus as this game grows.

Yes, it goes to infinity (or until your game crashes).

The mod I personally highly recommend for people with beefier PCs is Advanced Graphics Options[www.nexusmods.com].

The default LOD distance is abysmal imo. You just move a few steps from the banquet table and the chairs disappear or the skiver where the color from the jars disappears as soon as you move your camera just a bit, it's really awful.
