Phyllis Quest
I never got to build the hospital for her. I have Phyllis and Dr, Xu at full hearts my ic is married to Arlo. The last quest I can remember was the field and fan quest for Phyllis. Did I do something wrong?

You have to become romantically involved with Phyllis to help her complete her dream.

There's a bunch of relationship-specific scenarios tied to achievements for multiple characters (Arlo, Phyllis, Ginger, Gust, Xu, Mint, & Emily off the top of my head, maybe more), and if you lock yourself into just one relationship you miss out on a lot.

It's not exactly good role playing etiquette, but if you want to see them badly enough... well, Arlo's not going anywhere. You can dump Arlo, hit up all the other characters for their scenes & achievements, and go back to Arlo later.

I'm a cheevo hunter so no lies here -- my character's basically the villiage bicycle.

This sucks ALL the rocks, IMNSHO. I'd LOVE to help Phyllis and give Portia a new doctor but not enough to become romantically involved with her.

Agreed. I don't even particularly care about the other romance-locked achievements, I just really want to help Phyllis achieve her dream. :-(

I put up a discussion about this somewhere else but basically I'm hoping that if they include npc relationships like they are hinting at with Alro and Nora that they also make a romantic questline that the player helps the npcs along like a cupid builder.

For example if phyllis was to start dating and another npc then maybe that npc would approach you about building her a clinic. If that npc was Albert then he could more than afford to commission you to build her clinic as a suprise for her before he pops the question.

Or just allow those romance locked quest to be unlocked at BFF level too, if the player chara is already married at that point.

This sounds so damn good that I’m surprised it wasn’t originally planned to be implemented in the game
