Telephone booth "secret room"

The secret room in abandoned ruins, the booth hints at, does it refer to those hidden room pipes or soemthing new was added?

As far as I know it just refers to the pipes (red dot relics). Keep in mind there can be several in the same ruins at the same time, with different room configurations and rewards.

Wait what hidden room I saw that message on the pay phone to. Though I have this game since last year so I assume it’s new.

When digging in ruins, you can find "red" relics with the scanner, these are secret rooms with a chest in it. No amazing reward that I know of, just a little room with an item and some enemies.

Red? I thought it was purple, though I may be slightly colorblind. But yeah, tiny rooms, usually with level one snails, and some loot. Lots of leather couches and other minor things. I've found them to be worth a look, but not a huge money source.

Yes they are purple. So i guess it refers to that. I wish those rooms were more worthwile to enter. All share same loot mostly.

The phone was definately referring to the purple dots/Pipe rooms.
