Can not start Dee Dee Transport Quest

After completing the bridge, I get a mail to visit mayor for a new commission but when visit him he does not provide anything. How can I start a Dee Dee Transport?

after completing the bridge you should get a quest to clear cave on other side.

When you get the mail about the Dee Dee Transport, the 5 transport commissions appear on the board with other jobs. Meaning people like Higgins can snatch some of them up if you take too long.

I have started 3 different characters and not been able to get the DeeDee transport quest. Not only that the timing gets mixed up on the Sunday meetings. One time it was on Saturday and another time on Monday.

It went straight to the DeeDee stops for me and skipped them completely. I just restarted and it seems to be doing the same thing...which stinks because I have 3 ready to go already. Lol

I "Believe" you have to wait for a Fireside (Sunday) meeting before the TRANSPORT Quest will start. Depending on when you finish the Bridge (and Cave?) you may have to wait on the next or one after. All this is Speculative. Mine seemed to work fine (but I tend to delay the bridge and Cave until week 3 or so).

I finished on Monday and they held the meeting the next night saying they were going to be commissioning the DeeDee transports. I'm hoping that it will work out. It's been like 5 days I think.

yes with one character I cleared the cave and still no dee dee transports or postings. I get a fireside meeting request the day after I complete the bridge. The next day (last time it was Wednesday) I got mail saying there would be a fireside meeting on Wednesday but when you go nothing happens and on the following sunday - Gale disappears but his conversation continues without him there. No transport quests!!! Serious issue that never occured in EA.

Wow, something about the timing on this must be really buggy. I'm playing like I always do (grindy) and have not had any of these issues.

This exact thing happened to me. He disappeared (flew off the screen) and I have not been able to advance in the quest. There are no postings, there is no battery quests, nothing. Trying to figure this out before I decide to restart the whole game ...

Just keep playing, they changed up the story alittle bit. I had the same thing happen to me but I just kept doing the Orange and Blue missions and then boom Presely was at my door. It was almost my 2nd month before he showed up.

If anyone still having issues with the missing DEE DEE transport quest. I found that if I place the bridge on a Saturday the Fireside meeting triggers as normal Sunday ones. Then if you proceed to clear the cave,Huss and Tuss apppear and then the Dr. After this sequence Presley appears with DEE DEE transport quest. Placing the bridge on Saturday is the key to correct Fireside meeting.

I finished the AI cave quest on a thursday and missed the meeting, but still got the DD quests.

Just curious, how many of you that did not get it have opened the Hazardous Wasteland?

I opened it the first day (17th) which is also the Wednesday before the DD quest triggered for me.
