Is the game hard or a bit harder than normal Farming Games? Reason why I lost interest in Satrdew Valley cuz it was just way too easy :(

There is no point where you just have everything you need, you are always trying to get more stuff to get things done.

That said, it isn't like you can go bankrupt and lose the game. You can get knocked out in a dungeon(and have to restart the day), you can be so slow that other crafters get and do missions before you and you miss out on them, you can fail to get 1st place in the monthly leader board and you can fail to win the monthly events. However there is no game over.

So it is sort of like, there are a lot of goals you can reach for and they are a good challenge to get, but you can blow them all off if you want and you would be okay. Like the optional side quests that go along with the main story, to get all those contracts and beat out the other crafters can be difficult. So challening yourself to beat them is hard, however failing to do so isn't the end of the world. Though those are usually the best paying jobs.

It's not Europa Universalis, if that's what you mean.

I mean, more like. Harder to earn money, not everything is given easly, have to pay morgage? Rent? Yeah probably sounds like it wont be in the game ha

Well making money is a bit of the "give it time" range.

Thanks James! That is what I wanted, like the events, and mini games that you can actually lose. Hope they don't become too easy. I remember in stardew valley every single ''event'' I would always come out on top first, even with doing bearly anything.

Oh, if you’re looking for economic struggle, just don’t do commissions.

combat IMO is easy as long as you are equal level to the enemies and have a weapon of half deceny. the monsy aspect is more challenging as it takes actual work. unlike stardew where its mostly just patience

There are ways to get a lot of money relatively early on - namely fishing, but even that takes a lot of skill with the starter fishing rod, as the really expensive fish are extremely hard and time consuming to reel in with it.
Can only speak for myself here about the contests during annual events- most of them are not guaranteed wins. Right the first one is a fishing contest, you have to take part in with the mentioned above beginners rod, and what bites is highly relying on luck. (My personal best in 1st year were 4 of 6 turns won on both contest days together.) There are also a hunt for ghost badges in summer (which is considered unfairly stacked against the player, especially if you want to get the achievement as well), a riding contest (difficulty depends on which horse/llama you bring and which of the two contests you pick), a cooking and harvest contest (pretty easy to win with proper preparation), a fighting contest where you can also bet on the outcome (outcome highly depends on who is your opponent in the final and your own level, but is winable even with the hardest opponent in town in first year - picking the winners of each turn in betting is the actual challenge) and then last but not least there is a snowballfight in winter, which is winablle but takes some practice.
Well in year two the contests might get too easy, but a lot of people don't play that long after the main story is completed anyway.

The fishing game is pretty tricky to get the hang of, however there is a pretty easy trick. As long as you stay on target without reeling in, you can't actually lose. There's no need to push the stress gauge to the limit, other than to save a few seconds of fishing. Stay locked on, lightly tap the button and keep the stress circle small. You'll reel in any fish.
