finding old parts

Old Parts can be gathered by Quarrying in Abandoned Ruins

Yes of course Marie, but I aint finding none. The relic key doesnt work either, so I am blundering around fruitlessly. I am gaining skill points but cant progress with construction....what am I doing wrong??????

The relic scanner should work with the 'F' - key inside the mines, but maybe something got messed up in the default key-settings.
Better check them over in the Options Menu.

You can find them fairly easily in the first 2 mines I find by looking for the boxes buried in the mines. They aren't just laying around like the relic pieces. As far as I recall you'll only find them inside those boxes in the mines. I think the first mine has the highest chance but I haven't done intensive testing for that.

Thanks folks! I tried again and discovered I wasnt using the "F" key correctly. Zooming along nicely, playing catch up. I suppose I should start a new game but wont at this point.
