Multi-story house?
So I just got the third level upgrade for my home, and was disappointed to find that despite basically turning it into a shanty-tower all that changed on the inside was adding another side room and making the first one a little bigger.

Is the house interior going to get overhauled at some point, to the best of anybody's knowledge, or are we stuck with this bizarre reverse-TARDIS?

Edit: I guess it's actually a normal TARDIS in many ways too, since it's definitely a wider interior and a taller ceiling than the exterior would suggest. And is conspiciously missing the giant metal garage thing on the side.

The final expansion gives you an upstairs, but the interior NEVER fits the EXterior.

There is still the last upgrade which will change the appearance outside. Yellow mansion with yellow brick. The 3rd upgrade just gives you more room to put things in to upgrade health, stamina, defense, and attack.

You can buy flooring and wallpaper to change appearnce of inside. Buy brush and roller from Mysterious Man to change color.

I just finished off the house upgrades and I noticed some "change appearance" option in the menu in A&G construction where you can move it but I can't get it to work. Is there some sort of items I need to try it out or is it not fully implimented yet? It looks like it reshapes and recolors the 4th level house but I can't actually confirm the selection even when I managed to wrangle it to fit in my yard without hitting my stuff I have outside. What's the deal with that thing?

Yes, when you click on change appearance it will show you the appearances of the house. Select the house and it will show you the material.

Doesn't do that for me. Maybe it's not working because I'm using a controller. Some menus still trip out a bit when I do that it seems.

This is all I get. No button I press will show me a list of materials I need other than "home".
Just makes the standard menu sound.

Press A to confirm and it will show you the materials you need to gather.

It does not. But I did figure it out. I'm not entirely sure why but it seemed to work if I used the keyboard and mouse to enter the menu, not switch from controller while on the menu. Clicked it, clicked confirm and the list slides out from the side. When I use the controller to go into the menu and highlight the button with the D pad or the mouse it doesn't work. Have to click the confirm button using the mouse pointer and it works. I just hope it will be worth it when I collect another 100k for the change. I'd be nice if we had a better preview of what we are getting.

Do you know of a way to control the camera and get the menu out of the way to look at it before you buy it? It looks like if I don't end up liking it it will end up costing yet another 100k to revert back to the standard level 4 house. I can move the camera aorund before I select it as if I was going to buy it but then the menus pop up and cover it.

I think there's something wrong with your controller. You can google to look at the house. Personally I like the yellow house better.
