A question about "Run QQ Run" quest

Hi,
does anyone know do I have to make every run perfect (without QQ lying down) to get the more expanded ending?
Right now on sunday Gust just say to me"Not bad, you really have some determination" and quest doesn't return the next day.
I forgot to pick up this quest after the tournament on my pre- release save, so I never finished it then; only to learn from wiki that its not a recurring event like "Chicken Run".
Now on this playthrough I am not sure - am I doing something wrong, bugging out or this quest was either changed or even plainly doesn't have climax described in wiki implemented.
Would like to finish it this time properly so don't want to progress too far in case I will have to reverse to earlier save again but really, just want to move on at this point.
It turns out my determination won't last that long if I'll have to repeat that weekend fewmore times.

Just do not run too far ahead of QQ, let QQ keep close to you and run a few steps then walk 'till QQ gets close to you, then repeat from the Peach Plaza Archway down main street ( past Alice's Flower Stall ) 'till you get to Central Plaza Archway.

I didn't want to put spoilers for anyone but what I meant is - I am finishing this quest without QQ stoping as far as I can see, but according to wiki after the final time Gust suppose to give You different reward and dialog and this never triggers for me - its just same sentence every time. Its minor quest, so wanted to know is that how it suppose to be and I can continue or am I messing up somehow.

Has he asked you to run qq more than once? I think the reward is after the 3rd run?

Yes, introductory event took place on Thursday and then I did it thrice until Sunday. There was no option to repeat it on Monday.

There are only 3 QQ runs. Just do them, it only takes like 2 minutes of slow walk. Maybe you need more reputation with him to trigger the other runs, or maybe it just takes a few days in between.

I am starting to lean to opinion that I am bugging out after all then. I read somewhere else that there are 3 runs i just thought it maybe didnt count that initial event in front of workshop.

I definetely did it 4 times already - it starts day before Martial tournament and ends day after for me.
I just loaded older saves to confirm that just to be sure, since I was a bit tired when I rolled back yesterday. Also - as for reputation - I have Gust at friend with 5 hearts when it starts.
Again thanks everyone for responding - Ill continue on I guess and if quest wont reapear file a bug report.
