Difference between having baby by adpot and birth?

just like the title says, im curious what's the difference?

Having a baby by adoption you apply through the church and you get a randomly generated one, having one be born between you and your spouse means that they are generated using values between your two characters. So your skin colour, eye colour, and hair, etc. You can reset the day until you get a baby you like if you don't like it the first time lol.

one more question, if you decide to divorce your wife, do you keep the baby or what?

I haven't tried that, but I assume so because I highly doubt the game would have it coded into it for the baby to go to the mother's house lol. And I don't think there is a way to remove children from the game yet like in stardew.

Oh I just remembered. In a FB group for MTAP I'm in someone said they divorced their spouse and kept the child and then when they remarried were able to have another child with someone else. So yeah the player keeps all the children, with a cap of 2. XD
