Game speed 50 vs 100?
Does this just slow down the clock by 1/2 second at 50? I read a patch note that said it was bugged in the Day of the Bright Sun event. Is it bugged for other events as well? I'm coming up on martial arts tourney.

Which speed is better?

50 when you are running around doing stuff, 100 when you are waiting for your machines to finish cranking something out. Fishing and fighting in dungeons expends a fixed amount of time so that doesn't get affected either way.

I have mine set on 85 and didnt see anything wrong with the Bright Sun event, everything worked fine.

I play at 85 all the time. I don't adjust at all.

50% for me feels more like harvet moon on the N64, it's quick but not so quick as to make you wish you could stop time indoors..

I've put it on 75 for the minute and seeing how that play out. I think a tool tip could be added to actually display what gamespeed does. As an avid PC player, I figured it actually slowed the game down, like the whole game instead of just the clock. Now I know this is not the case and I can just fiddle with it. Seems 50 breaks it though so, shame that. (We already had one patch to address something broken, who knows if more will show.)

Day of the Bright sun lasts longer.. The people will be standing outside the town gate for a few hours depending on your game speed, while the event has already finished, waiting for the clock to reach 14:00. Other than that, it isn't bugged. (anymore. Apparently, more gifts would drop with lower game speeds before the .1 patch.)
Similar effects on other events I assume.
I noticed with Fishing day I would've been able to participate multiple times a day.
Using gamespeed of 66, so at 2/3rd normal speed, and I love the current flow of the game. Can really play the way I want, and some days I still have serious time issues, keeping some pressure on.

But you can always participate exactly 2 times a day. Participating takes 3 or 4 hours off the clock.
