Needing help with the relic scanner
I need help with the relic scanner. I am trying to find the old parts in Abandoned Ruins 1. I'm not sure how the scanner works. Can someone explain it to me?

Basically, hit F when you enter the ruins and a target reticle should pop up. If you look around, you should see some glowing yellow dots. Look at one of them (keep it at the center of the reticle) for a few seconds and if should get targeted. Then hit F to turn off your scanner - however the dot that you targeted will remain targeted. Then, pull out your pickaxe and start mining towards the dot (where the relic is).

That's how you use it, anyway. But what I think it probably confusing you is that you're looking around and not seeing any dots. Keep in mind that they are all going to below you! The first abandoned ruins is just an empty mine for you to mine down in (like Minecraft or similar games).

Thank you for the help! Yes, that was what I was confusing me I was looking around and found nothing. So, where can I find the old parts? Is there anything in the first ruin even if I mine down?

Yeah it confused me too for a while, haha. As for the old parts, some of the dots will have them (others will have random relic pieces). You end up accumulating old parts pretty quickly, so don't worry.

You can't mine that far down anyway, so don't go looking for secret entrances or anything. However it's usually a good idea to turn your scanner back on when you've dug down a bit, so you can see all the relics around you.
