@XBL Laberbacke, reset your skills and maximise the custom discount. It will enable you to exchange at half the tokens needed. I got all bets right and ended up with only 64 badges. I was after the full outfit and some of that lovely furniture. Hope this helps.
Yeah once you're past a certain point, with the right equipment and levels. The NPC don't put up much of a fight.
True, one would need up to about 105 badges to buy everything at half the amount of badges for this tournament however; since you referred to not being able to get a full outfit I assumed you meant clothing (Bandana and the Fung Fu San and Ku) - which would be exactly 58 instead of 115 badges) hence the above advice. I just settled for the full outfit and some of the furniture.
