Land Run Event --HELP

Does anyone know where the start line is or what it looks like. Probably a dumb question but I keep getting disqualified from the race because I cant find where to start.

It's at the base of the Western Plateau, just north of the lift. Good luck in your races! =)

Before the recent update the start line looked like this:

You need to sit on a mount and start the contest at the checkered flag.

Its moved to McDonalds farm now. I finally figured it out though. I had found the starting line early on. Its just kind of buggy. The starting line and the finish line are both the same thing. A big gray checkered flag streached across the track. I was heading over there the moment I signed up and I think it was bugging out because Id be disqualified while waiting for some reason. The trick is to register and then wait with the heard of horses. When the race is close to starting villagers will run over and jump on a horse and head to the starting line. Just follow them over and the race will start. Really odd that I got disqualified if I headed over early. They could do with some better instructions lol. So much confusion...I hope this helps someone else!

Look at your map, the big one, not mini map. There should be a purple circle once you registered.

No problem, lol. It took me a few restarts of the day to figure it out. The instruction (or was there even one?) wasn't clear enough.
