Relic Rarity In All Forms; Frustration

I opened, literally, more than 1800 lucky sacks and got a large variety of duplicates. A total of 47 different relic pieces and anywhere from 5-20 of each duplicate, along with a truly exaggerated number of junk bits. (On a side note, I'd really love to see a use for all of these bones.)

I then spent a total of roughly 29 real hours mining every single bright yellow dot I could find in Abandoned Ruins #2. 3 different refresh levels completely mined of every single relic piece and what have you. There remains 6 relic pieces I cannot find.

According to every information resource for this game that I could reference, these pieces are supposed to be in a Lucky Sack or Abandoned Ruins #2. And yet, I've spent countless in-game currency and an outstanding number of hours with absolutely no luck. I am all for increasing playability, but this is getting pretty ridiculous. If Lucky Sacks are going to be worthless, then one would think mining wouldn't be such a complete waste of time.

Finally, I have been monitoring the "Relic Exchange" for several in-game weeks, and found it to, not only, offer pretty imbalanced exchanges, but to be less than fruitful because of that fact. Nearly every exchange is someone requesting a particularly rare relic piece (most often one of the pieces I haven't been able to find to begin with) and offering a relatively common relic piece for the trade.

All in all, I am somewhat unhappy about the whole situation. I like having to work for things, but making such a significant part of the game so wasteful in both currency and time consumption really bothers me.

This game is amazing, even with its short comings. I would love to see some form of guaranteed method. Even if it's ridiculous expensive or requires a massive project that takes hours of real time and a perfect relationship with everybody in the town, I would be completely reassured knowing I had a back-up to get the rarest pieces. Like posting my own trade of several of my many, many duplicates for 1 piece and then it takes 1 in-game week and a favor to 3 different co-habitants.

At time it frustating, I do understand what your saying, I find it more less, power stone, I need, it use to be so easy to find, i dig deep, first i make a large circle all around me, and i find alot, but there are time, I find nothing, even when I pay 20 gols to search another level.

I'm missing a lot of pieces. But namely, for Abandoned Ruins #2, I'm missing:

Goddess Statue Piece 3
Duck on a King Piece 3
Catmaid Statue Pieces 2, 3, and 4
Fish Sub Piece 3
Soldier with Axe Piece 5

I don't mind farming heavily, but after 29 hours and 1800+ Lucky Sacks, searching for these pieces, I'd just like a way to pursue a better solution than "Keep looking, try harder."

By only mining for them, I don't buy Lucky Sacks....I have gotten all of them before, except the Goddess Statue, made 2 completed of each....1 for me and 1 for the museum.
In fact, except for the Goddess Statue, I have gotten all Relics from Ab. Ruins #2. I'm always missing just 1 piece for the Goddess Statue.

So it can be done, just with mining.

I'm not complaining that it's impossible. I'm just saying there should be a more reliable way to achieve the rarest pieces, preferably in a fashion that facilitates the "guarantee" as an absolute last resort. Like making it cost ample time and money with like a whole month between useability or something.

A way to smelt excess relics into tokens or unique resources you can use to reforge a rare missing piece with the rarity increasing the cost would be a good idea to suggest.

I completed more than one relic by trading the relic pieces I had a lot of or already completed the number I wanted to.

I just want a guy or girl in a fancy wagon to come by the shop once a month with a couple really rare pieces.

Have to be present to win. Bring your checkbook, it's gonna cost you. That sort of thing.

If I find the piece in the ruins before then great. If I don't, at least I have a way to get rid of a few (hundred) other pieces I do have every so often.

Don't want him to sell anything else, we got an old man for that.

Make the time he shows up be any time before lunch so you have to hang around the shop and keep an eye out so it isn't just an automatic gimme.

Ironically, I've been streamlining refreshes and searches of the AR2 levels by depending mostly on the silhouettes (I love that feature so much, btw). I've now found about 20 of every Catmaid piece and Duck on a King piece. But I still can't find the Goddess piece (which I really very much want for my yard), and the darn Soldier with Axe piece 5. "Common" and yet every pair of legs I find belongs to ANY of the other 3.

I'll totally cop to the fact that it is enormously satisfying to FINALLY find that ONE piece. I just found the S. w/ Axe piece 5 after 20 refreshes and 28 (yes a full month) in-game days. Now to start with AR3, because I'm strongly doubting the missing Goddess piece is gonna pop up in AR2, unless someone can 100% verify they found it in there.

Now I'm also wishing for a faster method of disposal for all these quarrying resources I don't need. Makes me miss my lava-filled disposal pit in Minecraft.
