Cooking Set
I think I missed something. How do I get the cooking set?

It is crafted on the assembly station. It is one of the blueprints Petra can give you, if you give her 5 data discs.

Basic tip: keep supplying Petra with data discs and select the cheapest technologies first.

Ditto, theat was my first playtrough big mistake: giving Petra 20 disks for research instead of 5. I got all sorts of useless blueprints I couldn't use because I didn't have the basic crafting tools you get from the 5 disks research results; they should remove her offer to accept 10 and 20 disks until the 5 disk blueprints are all unlocked.

Yes. I made the same error at a later point in the game, when a new set of technologies were unlocked. Again, start with the cheap ones.
