How do i expand the yard area next to my workshop?
Its so cramped in that small yard. How do i expand it?

Are u new? U should see a sign with "for sale" somewhere around your fences depending on the level of expansion u have, interact with it, it cost only gols. Try cutting down bushes close to the fences if u dont find it, sometimes they cover it.

Behind your house you will see a sign say "SALE". The more land you buy the expensive it will be.

I might have missed the tutorial part that tells how to expand your yard area.

Well no there is no real turtorial for that.
But if you want your future yard expansions to be a bit cheaper, become good friends with mayor Gale. (He likes red tea, special salmon fried rice and teatables as presents.)

Some of them are very expensive, but some of the late-game missions also give a good payout, so don't despair.

It is a very good idea to constantly gift the mayor with stuff he likes. Eventually, he can give you up to a 25% discount for land purchases, and that is really helpful in the late game. So give him so many teatables, that he can open an Ikea :)
