Portia is a good game to become a MMORPG

I wouldn't have bought this game otherwise and I am finding myself really enjoying this game.

Some people mentioned it before about Portia being a MMO.

I would like to see Porita as a MMO with this type of gameplay and charm. There isn't anyting out there right now on the market like it.

(*cough cough* Yes a Harvest Moon like MMO but (for me) this is more fun than Harvest Moon.

I've played MMO's for a very long time and I don't see anything I would like to play right now because they are either messed up and creativity restricted by PVP mechanics, Pay to Play, or have Dev's who don't know what they are doing and don't listen to their player base.

Portia is fun and charming.

BUT PLEASE,

Don't put in pvp mechanics it won't work in this type of building game, you would have to change Portia alot.

Don't add Pay to Pay mechainics it ruins gameplay flow.

Don't add timed stuff like building uprades taking 2-3 real time days to complete.. what you have now is fine, because it goes by ingame time.

Don't do alot of things current MMO's do. They destroy the game for milking every $$ from players. Makes the games down right no fun and boring.

This is the story about a player trying to rebuild dad's workshop, not World of Warcraft or Don't Starve Together.

Not a surprise to several of you, but I can dig a good mmorpg. I really like this game and my MTaP friends :) and imagine that I'd enjoy playing mmo with them; if it were out in two different versions, I'd probably buy both.

That being said, lots of folks don't enjoy them as I do/have, and I can understand that, and respect it.

I'm voting here, diplomatically I hope, for further down the line (def. a good while past full release), the possibility of DLC multiplayer city.

I can dig that - many games have the option of single player & MMO. If I wanted to play with a few people that I knew I'd be down for that. I just don't wanna play with a sh!t ton of people that I don't know. But if it was MMO the world would have to be much much bigger just for real estate alone.

I can't think of any aspect of this game that would be improved by adding multiplayer, but pretty much all parts of the game are time management oriented and would be totally messed up if we had multiple people working on the task.

I can stand by playing local co-op or a co-op version but making this MMORPG is pretty much a far stretch. But if so would be the case they really need to make a own game mode for that. Also they already tried a "multiplayer" version of this game type previous. So less likely it will go beyond single player.
