Having trouble getting through Hazardous Ruins Lvl 4
I keep timing out or dying. I can't kill everything in time. Anyone have any tips to help me get through?

increase damage, berserkedly spam attack, that's about it
The combat system is (not good) so no complex solutions

At times, sublevels are generated too long, and the timer expires sooner. Since there are no boxes on level 4 (to increase the time), I just tried to pass the level again and again.
I also recommend making the Sword of Malice, or the Iron Sword.

Decoratae your house with furnitures that increase your defense, stamina and health. On the wall there a board that will tell you how much health, stamina, and defense has increased.

Oops furniture to increase attack too.

It is necessary to dodged as often as possible, move to enemies backs.
Also be a good decision to buy the best armor for your level, and equip a couple of Balloons (from Total Tools shop) and a Small Satchell.

Upgrade your clothes if you haven't so. If you have some Gols, buy the lv 20 outfit from Carol the Tailor. It'll give you a lot of defense. So you can last longer

Oh, that's right!
Best is "buff"-food from "cazino"-zone of the Round Table,
and from Martha's Bakery:
* Baked Bread - recover 0,5 Stamina per second for 30 seconds;
* Seaweed Burrito - recover 2% of Health per second for 30 seconds;
* Mushroom Crepe with Fruit Sauce - recover 30 HP and 10 Stamina;

from Sophie's Ranch:
* Pumpkin Pie - recover 50 Stamina per second for 120 seconds;

and from Cooking Set (!!!):
* Classic Spaghetti with Meat Sauce - 1 Flour + 1 Meat + 1 Egg|1 Milk - Attack +10.00 for 20.00 seconds;
* Meat and Mushrooms Stew - 1 Meat + 1 Red Mushroom +1 Salt - recover 50 HP
and 8 Stamina;
* Spicy Fish Soup - 1 Banner Fish + 1 Chili Pepper + 1 Salt - Attack +20.00 for 120.00 seconds;

I might have overlooked something, but I don't think any furniture in the game raises attack, currently.

FIRST OF ALL buy tier 3 clothes thats 180 defence 2 get the iron sword 3 specc all combat for dmg 4 furnish your house with defence

Food is a bit rubbish. It only increases your stamina/hp by a very small amount.

Defence furniture in you home helps. The clothes shop sells the decent armour. (You can only craft the lowest tier armour.) Buy as high as your level/cash allows.

Saying that, I still couldn't (reliably) finish HZ4 but sometimes it would have only a few levels and they were pretty short, and with crit upgrades (sunglasses), the boss isn't usually very hard.

Saying that, have you tried acupuncture?
I respecced my character to a total warrior, (had the defence perk, and maxed attack bonus), and had no problems with HZ4.

Speak to Philis (the nurse in the Clinic) if you want to try acupuncture...

The cost seems to rise each time you use it though.

It was pretty easy, but I was at lvl 26.

One thing I want to note is that my skill tree I was using "Defense Posture". I really struggled with the combat aspect of the game when I had "Aggressive Stance" selected, and would recommend switching if you're using it. You will use stam for attack but you can just bring additional stam restore items for that.

After that, enemies would only do 1s and 4s. The boss would hit 20's and 30's ish. Make sure you have all your "armor" upgraded to the lvl 20 gear, and try to focus mainly on HP healing items, buffs aren't really worth it unless you made them yourself. You can buy Simple Ointment's from Dr. Xu's clinic they heal 80hp.

Thanks all! I appreciate your advice. Is getting through lvl 4 required for the main quest? What items do you get for lvl 4 only?
