The days go by far too fast.
The pace of the game would feel allot less rushed if the days were longer, Currently its a race against time.

No it is fine. I find myself with plenty of time to relax after I get what I wanted to do for the day. Just have to manage your time and prioritize what you want to do each day.

This type of genre of games you have to manage your time, there is a limit to how much you can do in a day.

also, artm, there seem to be no pentatly for staying up late. at 3am, you pass out, wake up the next morning, fully refresh.
I am sure this is something that be changes later, but you can use it if you want, lol.
Yah Its bit fast for now, I think It would be better if slowed down

How so? Since you choose the goals you want to achieve, there's nothing forcing you to 'race'.

They don't

When you, now, can mine 3000 ore in a day and build everything a major story step requests from you in less then 2 days, then it is kinda good as it is.

When you've played many games of this genre, where time management is key to everything, you'll find yourself more often running out of SP then actual time. If this slowed down to half, i'd probably skip everything past 4pm because i cba to spend 35-40 minutes on a single day when you are limited to certain actions once a day or once every couple days (looking at you trees)

So, yeah - it's good as it is

"It's Fine" for a game that doesn't involve exploration as one of the big features of the game. However THIS game does have an exploration component in a large map that is still growing. So yes, the time needs to be slowed down to allow for that. Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons all have a time component, it's true. But other than a cave or mine here and there none of them have anywhere near as much area to cover. AND they provide personal transportation in the form of a horse to speed your travel time in the smaller maps they take place in.

By the time you get TO the place you want to explore and gather from the day is nearly done, and while there is no penalty for passing out now, there likely will be in the future. So the suggestions to slow the clock aren't out of line. Not everyone is playing just to complete crafting projects. With the social aspects, the exploration, and the fishing (which takes WAY too long but that's another post) it wouldn't hurt to have a timer like Trio of Towens where time ticks at 10 seconds = 1 minute instead of a 1:1 ratio.

Sleeping is a good way to speed up how fast the days go by, The stamina we have is a check on how much you can do per day. Given that there is a limit on how much you can do, the time it takes for a day to go bay is way too fast. It should be at least 10x slower if not more.

The game would be more enjoyable with longer days. People who don't need that time can just sleep.

Right now, late game requires a commission every day. There's also no penalty for falling asleep in the world at 3:00 am, and that will change too and will require the player to be back home for that time. Exploration into areas that don't have Dee-dee Transport stops also makes getting back home difficult. These things will change, but new territory may also be added that requires travel and doesn't have stops.

Lengthening days can only help those who need more time and means no difference for those who don't.

+1 exactly what I was trying to say, but better!

Then surely the case there is (when/if it becomes an issue) to campaign for sensibly placed Dee-Dee stops, not a broad-stroke change to a base gameplay mechanic?

The Dee dee stops gobble up time as well, up to 20+ minutes. The time constraints fit in games with such small maps. For a game with extensive exploration, it needs to be better balanced. Noone is saying an hour should equal an hour, just slow it down enough to be able to enjoy all the game offers without feeling like we have to sacrifice every other aspect of the game to do so. Even making a minute = 10 real life seconds would help without taking away the time management challenge. I know in SoS: Trio of Towns I still have to manage my activities carefully to avoid passing out, and it's a much smaller scale.
