Yes i know. I have the same Problem. Attack and defend exists only few items. Best is choose a Edge throw a lot +attack and defend items there and Place a Bookshelf in front so you dont see the Garbage Decoration Edge XD.
But im more Interested in the Locations from Furnitures i missed maybe. I found a Mysterious Mirror e.g (dont remember the extact description). Its a Furniture that i found in a chest overworld i think. Later i add a Screen from it.

Think the desk lamp has def or att. Idk how the fan was (fan dropped in the second ruin)
What items do you have with +Attack boost? I found none and I'm on the last story quest.
(IMPORTANT) they MUST be placed in your house! having them in your yard won't work!
Heres the list (some may be wrong w/e)
Bonsai
Duck on a King*
Fortune Cat
Galloping Horse
Joy Stick
Magic Lamp
Monster Toy*
Old Talker
Old Thermos
Owl Clock*
Porcelain Waterholder*
Power Lamp
All 4 Soldiers (Axe, Blade, Lance, Scepter)*
Summer Doll (IDK about the other 3)
* = Personally Confirmed
i suggest running about Ruin #2 to get the Soldiers, they give a huge chunk of +ATK. plus it looks cool to have all four in a row.
The wiki still has some relics that are 'Unknown Stats' so it's possible theres more i haven't listed.
I never even thought to look at the Galloping Horse - it's so big that I thought it was one that wasn't allowed to go inside ;) For me, the soldiers were easiest as well (disclaimer: this was way pre-Harbor update)
This item is foundin a chest in the Collapsed Wasteland,if anyone is in need. I doubt you missed all of thekitty sofas & washing machines. Mysterious Man also has a few furniture items, some only available via engine trade (not gols).
off-topic a bit: There used to be a way to convert engine types with him (MM) as well, but it was removed (you can still buy a couple of small engines with old parts, however)
Maybe soon the developers will let us make the one other rug on the Adv. Skiver, and they'll add stats to both of those recipes (and add more) =)
LOTS of *items* have an attack bonus. You are likely looking at the wrong part of the wiki:

Most items you get from the Martial Arts Tournament or relics. Personally, I hang a number of pennants/flag from all the events in the stairwell for a large number of my boosts. They don't take up floor space and they are pretty cheap gift exchange items.
