New patch camera is unplayable
Now i have to move the camera manually all the the time? Even with mouse? What a mess. Makes the game for me unplayable...

Give me back the camera autorotation, at least as option!

because of the new patch camera change its caused difficulity to fight because i cant turn my character around fast enough to face the monsters! Please fix this. It feels like wre playing in slow motion under water now :(

We tweaked the mouse sensitivity calculations today to allow a greater range, you might need to tweak the sensitivity setting in the menu on your end to fit your needs.

Loving the game! Is there any way to add a disable option for the mouse smoothing you added? I can't speak for everyone but as a mouse user the camera controls were drastically better pre-patch for me. Even with the sensitivity maxed it still feels off and sluggish.

The sensitivity isn't the problem for me, it's the smoothing/mouse acceleration that needs to be disabled.

There shouldn't be smoothing or mouse acceleration in games, you are just adding input lag, and increasing sensitivity is not going to improve that. When I move my mouse 2 inches, it shouldn't matter if I moved it fast or slow, it should move the exact same distance.

It's also moving by itself, even when the mouse isn't even moving or shortly after you moved the mouse.

i had it before on 60% and works nearly perfect, now i have it on 100% and it doesnt feel good and slower and very unprecise.

it feels sluggish and moves further after you stopped with a little bit of acceleration too, which doesnt give a good feeling overall.

and how i wrote in other threads: i wish me to get the old mouse system back so hard and if controllers have a problem with it: a seperate options menu for the controller, but not the same sliders for both.
and for mouse: a setting to toggle a) acceleration b) smoothing

I suggest you add the ability to remove mouse smoothing - it makes moving the camera difficult at any sensitivity. Otherwise the patch was good!

We're looking into it, will put out a patch tomorrow to fix this. We might have reintroduced some inertia for the camera when rewriting the code. :/

Thanks zede05. Not a massive fan of mouse smoothing. But nothing major.
Just happy to see a dev team in the forums interacting. You guys rock.

Thankyou for checking it out! The camera is currently making me feel a bit seasick.

I have to be honest but the way you had the camera before was so much better. Please put back the autocamera or at least make it an option in the menus becaue I find the game terrible with the change. And I was loving it beforehand. Why on earth was it changed? And please do not ask people to change their mouse settings for something you changed in your game as if I change my mouse settings it will effect all my games. Your change will only effect your game. Thank you.

Just crank the sensitivity to the maximum and it will be normal-ish.

Or just wait they said they would add a toggle for it tomorrow 4 hours ago... Its EA why not voice your concerns and see if they respond? They are not scarry man eating monsters they are human beings some times they may be cemented on an idea and you got suck it up, others they may be looking for input, and super gratefull for any.

You don't always got just suck it up with EA, now if it was finished yeah you got suck it up and hope maybe they come back and do a patch or a mod comes out, but this is EA as long as your nice and civil about it there is decent odds they will at least look at your input.
