Failed Missions?

I totally spaced and forgot I had Mission: Django’s Sword. I just kept overlooking it entirely. (Poor mans.) And it’s about to be failed in like 3 in-game hours before I go to bed (it’s like 1:30am in-game rn). So I know it’s going to fail. But I wanted to know if it’ll eventually come back? And if these sort of quests are just like little repeatable things?

I know I got two random fetch quests from Mars before about an umbrella and fish, but I finished them. I also got a quest from Sophie asking me to deliver milk that failed because I couldn’t find Qiwa and then got distracted crafting and collecting materials after I didn’t find him right away.

And I had another quest from Phyllis asking for venom samples but I couldn’t find them in the Hazardous Ruins anywhere after trying for 2 in-game days and eventually abandoned it for a bit, but again, forgetting I had it altogether until it expired.

I’m sensing a trend. Might need to keep a post-it note on the side of my laptop or something LOL. I just keep getting distracted with wanting to do everything at once in this game at the moment.

TL;DR
So I just wanna know if these quests from individual characters (like “Django’s Sword” or “Milk Delivery”) come back and/or if they are just randomly generated quests not having to do with the story and stuff, but instead meant to level up friendship. And will I get more opportunities like this?

P.S. Gosh I’m sorry for being all up in this discussion section and I never really participate in Steam forums or anything, but it’s my first EA game and I’m really into it, haha. If there is a specific thread just for simple/quick in-game questions that I can subscribe to or something then lmk. My bad.

uhm,sadly if you fail the missions's i don't think they respawn, as far as i know at the moment. when i did my first run through i didnt get the lift quest and it never came up again. Also, when i declined quests like that soup for one of the brothers it never came up again. that's why i did a 2nd run through lol.

I failed Albert's new mission for the book for Ginger. There was just so many quests given at once. I feel they should space stuff out a bit, and let it come around again :(

you can go back a day in saves, unfortunately you have no control over what missions appear on the right side of the screen so some get lost in the shuffle. his mission won't come back to my knowledge.

lol; this actually would be the best idea, if you haven't progressed much from that quest and time point.!!

Wow that really sucks so much agh! But I guess that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. It’s on me for not remembering.

I have definitely progressed too far to go back by this point. The past few in-game days I was basically killin’ it in the abandoned ruins and found so many goodies so I’ll just have to let it slide that I missed it.

I do wish they would somehow come back maybe after a season or two since they were failed or something. I’ll raise my friendship with him and stuff some other way. Poor little characters getting neglected. He’s probably just like “my sword...? :^(”

they might, i didn't originally get both musical options for the panbats and eventually got the 2nd blueprint in the mail i think. possible they'll retrigger missed missions once the whole thing is released i'll probably do a new save anyway

Well, you can load the day over. It means you'd have to replay an entire day, but I have done that before so as not to lose a forgotten quest. You have that option.

for this one I think a lot of people chose one or the other, so they mailed it when we got the most recent update/ expansion & since that's like a big deal for the museum. I think a lot complained, but for these small missions idk if the devs will do it, yknw?

Yeah that’s more of a big story mission though, I think. Whereas these are smaller side missions.

Yeah I had already made too much progress by the time I even realized that option. I started getting goodies I needed and was really on a roll with clearing out some other missions/constructing some Dee-Dees.

So I’ll just have to let it be and know that, in the future, I shouldn’t start a side quest unless I’m ready to devote myself to it. Dawa’s has a little blue blip asking for soup for a couple in-game days now and I’m just like “not ready to farm iron yet, you wait.”

If it helps, Django is pleased withdelicious roasted ribs (like Wuwa); I bet they both gained at least 10 pounds there for awhile :)
