Cant find Mystery Man

So early in the game, I bought a ring from the mystery man. I had no idea how marriage worked so I kept trying to give it to Emily and she wouldnt accept. One day, after actually dating her, I tried to propose (had 10 hearts) but the ring was gone. Its been three seasons (monthes) since then, and he hasnt shown up for me to buy another ring. What should I do?/is there something changed now?

Well, he only shows up on the 27th day of the month. You can meet him down at the docks as soon as you wake up or you can find him on the map as he wanders through town.

He appears on the 27th (and on open test at least, the 27th and the 28th) of the month.

If you're having difficulties, he has a special icon on your map (looks like a little blimp I guess). He arrives at the port/harbor, slowly makes his way past your home, then into the city via the peach plaza entrance. I'm not sure when he de-pops, but I think before 5pm he can usually be spotted.

He will walk by your workshop on the 27th of the month just before 3 PM. He walks from Portia Harbour, takes the path that leads past McDonald's farm and Emily's Grandmother's farm, past your house, through Peach Plaza and walks to the Central Plaza. He will stay on the two plazas for a few hours.

If you rush out of the door on the morning of the 27th, you can take the Dee Dee to Portia Harbour, and you will meet him pretty close to the bus stop. If you can't find him, use the map. He has a special map icon.
