Best Item to Make/Sell for money?
I'm at the point where I need alot of mooney to upgrade my yard. Of things i know the price, i been making Iron Swords and selling them for money. Seems like the cheapest/Easiest to make and sell.

What do you guys think the best thing to make and sell is for easy money?

(Excluding Commissions, obv. I'm always doing those on the side)

You can always go to Abandoned Ruins to hunt for some relics and after you can sell all the stone, sand and ores , i always have around 2k gols after selling from 400 stamina used

I would Not recommened doing this, raw materials are NOT worth selling, it's better smelt and craft them into things to sell.

With 400 stamina I can mine over 1k Iron ore which i can smelt into 333 Iron Bars, which can make 22 Iron Swords that sell for 500 Gol each = 11k Gol (with 400 stamina)

I make a ton of Fire Powered Generators because they sell for 3,600 each at 100% selling price

Speaking of Ruins. Copper Wire sells for a nice bit of change. I highly doubt I will ever use it faster than I can loot it. I keep 100 and sell the excess. Sell at tool and also furniture store. Haven't tried mysterious merchant yet.

Personally I go for the stone tables as it very easy to come across stone and marble by just cracking up a few boulders, those on the way up to the tree farm are a good bet.

Waste of your time, sorry >.>

If you really want to work with stone, make the stone into stone stools. 10 stone that would sell for 2 sell for 8~

But selling raw materials should never be an option. You might get 1 per ore and you can get 2-3k per day, but making those into items to sell is always worth more.

As Spaceshipearth already mentioned: If you got the Fire Powered Generator recipe, that is probably the best bet to make good amounts of money. The amount of materials seems intimidating at the beginning, but if you look at the list of materials it isn't that hard:

60 Copper Ore / 15 Tin Ore -> 15 Bronze Bars -> 5 Bronze Plates
20 Stone -> 2 Stone Stool
9 Marble -> 3 Marble Planks
-> Civil furnace

1 Industrial engine
150 Iron Ore / 30 Charcoal -> 30 Carbon Steel Bar -> 10 Steel Plate
+
45 Copper Ore -> 15 Copper Ingot -> 15 Copper Cable
30 Iron Ore -> 10 Iron Ingot
-> 5 Copper Coils

So for the raw materials you' get 314+210(for the industrial engine) if you sold them to the merchant. But if you make a generator you get 3600, or 3076 more. If you wait for a good percentage (I've seen up to 130 already) you might even get 4500 for one ^^

welding rod is easy and fast, beside everything they said.. I'm selling iron bars, welding rods and copper coils for simplicity but I'm going to try the fire powered generator after Magistrella's explanation

Also don't forget rep with the mayor... the 10%, 20% and 30% discounts on land cost actually make quite a difference.

I also turn my data disks into $1500ish a day (I have waaaay too many) plus commisions plus mining. I average around 4-5k a day doing hardly anything. Leaves me most of the day, except for 4ish hours a night where I go to the mine, to work on rep with people and fish.

Alright, I've read Everyones suggestions, and figured out what the best way to make money is depending on the situation.

SpaceShipEarth and Magistrella Suggested Firepowered Generators [Read their posts for detailed info]: I'd say if you have excess Copper wire/bars and industrial Enginesm, then to make these to sell

HOWEVER

It still seems like making Iron Swords is the (EASIER) option (especially if u do not have extra of the above materials):

45 Iron Ore -> 15 Iron bars (Can typically get 1k ore with 400 stamina)

4 Bones (Very easy to aquire in your Workshop Backyard killing the Llamas)

= 1 Iron Sword (500G at 100%)

Unlike the firepowered generator where you need to run dungeons (at the chance of getting 1 Engine per) + Mining Iron and Copper in 2 different ruins + the random chance of getting copper wires for the Coil from the dungeons.

[Comparing the prices]
500G from sword VS 3500 from generator

Generator needs 60 iron bars Total VS the Iron swords 15 bars meaning i can make 4 swords for 2kG

Leaving the generator at 1.5k Over the sword but also needing 1 Indust.Engine + 2 stone stools + 3 marble planks + All the bars tunred into plates (Taking more time) + 30 charcoal + 15 copper cables.

Theres just wayyyy too much needed for an extra 1.5k when i could just make another 3 swords, which is why if u have excess of these, then generator would be good to make, but not to farm for.

IRON SWORD Best Thing to make money so Far!

Selling bridge body only cost 5 bronze plate and 12 stone brick

If mass produce it make a good income since the material are easy to get especially when the you already have compressive cutter and an automatic assembly station

One bridge can be sold for 492 and higher
5 bronze plate cost 275 and 12 brick is sold for 132 so the profit is about 85 gold

This is a great source since producing and gaining the material is not as difficult and limited plus this can be done automatically ones you have "Ack" as a employee. the only thing you need to do is gather the raw materials and assign what need to be smelt and cut. And put the materials in your storage.

Ps: clean your storage first lol i didn't at the beginning at it was hell to find objects i know it was stupid lol :steamhappy:

When it becomes available I find it convenient to sell sportswear. It doesn't take much time out of the day but your limited in gathering enough material for more than one peice of clothing a day. That and selling cotton lamas is great.

I find cultivation fences to be a good source of extra income. The resources for it are easy to get and one fence sells for over 200 gols on a good day. And they can be sold at A&D's who have a lot of cash available.
