Married Mint and never give me a gift!!

I've been married to Mint, but why he never gave me a gift at all?
Is it normal?

The gifts seem to be extremely rare occurences. I've been married to Arlo for almost 6 months of game time and he has only given me a gift -once-.

Yeah it's rare. It's not that big of a deal anyways, just generally a food item from my experience.

Yes. Paulie my hubby, when I guess he feels like it, he gives me pumpkin pie, or bamboo papaya egg on top. That only often. I wish our spouse at time ask us out, instead of us.

arlo will give you a gift at night, jst try to stand beside him at home around 9-10 PM and he will talking to you

I must be really lucky with mine, Emily gives a food item every few days.

Game is heavyly under development, with future updates it will be balanced but for now clearly he is not a good choice to marry with.
I married with Ginger she is giving food consumables almost everyday.
Also 2k comes from his father every month.
Also rarely she is decorating inside of the house.(random different textures for walls, floor and probably ceiling.)

list of food items she gives:
Bamboo Papaya with Egg-on-Top (value:14, restore 40HP, 5Stam)
Pumpkin Pie (value:40 +0,5 Stam per lasts 120 second)
Bubblefish soup (value:62 %20CritChance lasts 120 second)

She gaved 28x bamboo papaya egg, 23x pumpkin pie and 16x bublefish soup so far.

Youi're lucky dude, just read another players post saying he gets nothing at all from marrying Ginger and has only been given the cash reward perk once. So clearly they definately have some work to do there. I think it's been quite a recent addition as apparently it used to be only Emily that helped/gave prezzies.

Maybe It was an old post you saw. or bugged game experience from unlucky player as you said. In my last ingame month, mayor camed to my workshop for giving 2k gold but dialog never appeared, also Emily sometimes visiting but never able to deliver a gift. I see hotfix no 3 today, fixed Emiliy's bug. Not played long enough to see mayor's visitation yet but since its pretty same problem, probably its should be fixed too.

For me it's the same. I'm married to Arlo and if I'm home at around 9pm when he comes home he gives me a gift really often. BUT in the description it says that you will receive a gift sometimes as first thing in the morning. And that's the major point I think, cause if I want a gift from him I have to be at home at 9pm and most of the days I'm not, cause I have better stuff to do then to wait for my husband to come home ;) So if the devs can change this to morning how it's supposed to be I would be really happy.
