Anyone caught a Llama yet?
I set the trap, put the bait in but the pesky creatures just don't want to get trapped.
Has anyone managed this yet?

Yep, had to put the bait around 5 times before getting one in the cage.
You will need some food to calm it, and then there is a taming minigame, so get ready.

Yes, I put out a trap, put in the bait and when I saw the trap the next morning, there was a Llama in it. There is a little minigame to catch the Lama, that requires hitting one of two keys that flash onto the screen, with a bubble around it that contracts until it reaches the key. Hitting the key on the keyboard (or button on gamepad) when the bubble is closest to the key on screen but hasn't disappeared gets more points towards capture. I initially thought I had to hit the key as soon as it flashed onscreen for better points, but was mistaken.
It turned to summer without me realising and sadly I ran out of lettuce.

^_^; Just my luck.

I'm on like month two of trying, every morning I check and find the bait gone and no llama

No but I found the boss Llama. The big white one with the sunglasses on (I have screenshots of that and the panbat boss in my screenies online library, but they haven't gone to the community section yet). I'm trying to get the boss Ladybug thing now:)

I tamed the cotton llama just a few minutes ago. The trick is to feed it first with aroma apples (3 are enough to make it happy) and then hit the buttons perfect most of the time. Perfect hits are made in the moment the shrinking circle is equal to the button with the letters. Don't hit them too fast, or you will just get good hits, and they aren't enough to tame the llama.

I got the cotton Llama on my first try knowing absolutely nothing about it lol. I just wanted to get more delicate fur but a Llama is fine too.

I tamed the cotton llama, too, first try. I set up the cage, went back the next Am and there was one in the trap. Fed it a couple regular apples, did the wasd minigame and tamed it.

I dont know if it matters, but i killed all of the little coloured llamas until the cotton one appeared, then went to sleep.

Nah, it don't matter if you kill all the llamas. Btw the cotton llama likes rice and llamas like lettuce so I don't know why it would matter what they liked or didn't like since you can feed them anything plant based AND the game doesn't tell you what your livestock enjoy eating. That's what really irks me.

If we can get regular feed for our critters then that would work fine, otherwise make it more coherent in the game for what we have to feed our beasties.

One more thing, horses like wheat and rice (?). I know they like wheat. Gah I'm so annoyed with animal feeding!
