Research Centre Theft

I've been asked to look around the research centre for clues, but nothing seems to be turning up. Am I missing something or is this just bugged?

Nevermind, I realised that they literally meant 'around', as in outside the research center.

I've been looking for 4 game days and still can't find anything so I'd appreciate any spoilers to find whatever I am looking for. I've climbed up on top of the globe thing and went all around the center, the school, the museum. Even checked outside the gate and around the wall.

Wow. I found it, but it took me a bit even after knowing where it was lol. I went all the way around up through the gate and around until I could get up on the wall and walk my way around the edge of that behind the museum to get to the other side of the back of the center. Once down there I could then see the path on the ground that leads around the back of the museum, but I had no idea it was there previously. I kept checking the school side of the center since that was all you could really reach. Thanks very much!

Holy f*ck, this was the most illogical place for that sh*t hat to be, I can't believe it's a jumpnrun puzzle where you have to walk *on* the wall starting to the left of the research center coming from the front. my kind husband helped me locate it. this game just keeps challenging you day in day out.
