Not really unfair considering if I give a loved gift to say arlo it's +10. If I give Ginger a loved gift it's only +2. If anything it would bring a way to balance her friendship earnings with the others. What's unfair is the way she is set up now.
I don't want to date her either, my builder married arlo, but I am trying to get her friendship up. She gives a crafting recipe at one point. And she doesn't get the play option like the others either I've read, so they need to do something to make her equal to the rest.
She does get the play option at 2 hearts. I did a play date with her the other day.
I think the thing with Ginger is that it’s a big kick in the bum for players that feel they need to befriend her as she gives the unique recipe.
P.S - You can progress with her really quickly by play dating at the associate level with the social skill later on in the game.
