Where to Gather Asteria ?

Im trying to craft the Asteria Pot...but it will only accept Asteria from gathering.

They're gathered in the current late game. If you don't want to spoil a main quest for yourself, don't read their location below:

You can gather Asteria across the river after building the bridge to the Desert.

oh....well im still trying to train good enough to kill the rat king :) So i been placing items in my house to increase stats.

Make sunglasses in the gift section of worktable. Put in the 3 lower slots of your char. Gives +10% crit chance each 1, for 30% total. Helps a lot.

I've had this problem myself when accepting a quest because I WANTED TO BEAT HIGGINS and in my rush got a quest that required later game items, THEN I had to restart my day.

I'm in my 2nd year and i've already beat him and am ahead of him still ... just waiting to get the 10000 gols reward LOL ...

With the perfect technique, you can easy beat him on second month :
-Always go at 8:00, take the biggest commission you can do in less than 24h and look the second best (so higgins can't take it)
-Prepare for missions with multiple goal : make 5 dee-dee stop, 5 lamp, 4 complete bridges to euphalia...
With this technique almost done (some fail, not enough solidifier..), i beated him on day 6 of second month.

But you need to know when the big mission wll trigger so, for your second start or if you spoil yourself via guide

is it still possible to get asteria before building the bridge ? can someone post a screen shot of the jump location

Honestly i don't bother trying to beat Higgins till after end game - i try to make money etc first.

In the past i grab quest for wooden pillars from trading guild, but that was BEFORE bridge to South Block.
Because of that i spend several days without any quests from trading guild...

That's really unfortunate. If you accidentally pick one of those quests you can't fulfill, just take the reputation hit and abandon it as soon as possible. It is way better to take the loss immediately instead of also losing out on X days of new commissions.

this is where the wiki comes in handy - look up the mission before accepting it .. i've always done it this way to avoid losing rep.
