Tempering Liquid

Anyone know the best way for farming tempering liquid? The way im doing it is going through the hazardous ruins and you usually get 1-2 from the boss and rarely other enemies drop them. Feels a tad slow doing it this way, would appreciate if anyone has some insight in this. Cheers.

You get a bunch each month for being in the top 3 workshops, although it's not really "farming" sadly.

Has anyone found a vialbe alternative to getting this stuff? 1-2 per boss fight makes doing any of these workorders useless. The one I'm on now requires x18 Tempering Liquid. Not looking to farm bosses for materials espeically when I can really only do 2-3 fights per day. I have other stuff I'm working on....and I'm definitely not speced out for combat...I wanted to craft and build, not grind dungeon mobs and bosses.

Well, the best way for me seems to do Hazardous Ruins #1 and #2

From the runs i got all my copper wire from i have 45 of the Liquid sitting there (don't need it yet)

If you need more i'd say go reskill at phyllis for the +100% droprate on monsters and farm the living hell out of it. Other then that, its just waiting for the monthly reward :/ My next one will give me another 20, and i, yet, dont see the use of them ^^"

I'm curious as well since I need plenty of it to build Bridge Tower and there are a few more commissions at the board for this, seems like Higgins will get the rest if I can't farm this quick enuf

Farm it early you'll need plenty of it , mild spoiler ahead regarding the use of that item 1 Bridge Tower will need 18 , there are like 4 contracts on the commission board. And before that you'll need it for something else I forgot, so even if you're having 45 right now, it will be used before Bridge Tower I think.

I don't know how fast Higgins will work on this, but if I'm stuck at this mat then Higgins will probably do the rest :(

The other part that needs them is the hardened clay that you also need for the bridge tower. 16 for enough HC to build one tower, plus another two for the strenghtened glass...to make ONE bridge tower.

That's what happened to me :( When I finally got the mats together after end of month bonus and finished it the others were already gone.

I tend to ignore most of those Work Orders...Higgins can have them. I just want to craft and built, I have no interest in being #1 in a competition I didn't sign up for or go Delving into hostile ruins that aparently the Civic Corps can't even seem to handle (in WoW Sam was more of a detriment than a help)

i got most mine from ruins level 3 chests ... tried around 10 runs each level and i dont know, but level 3 had always the most chests in it so i got the most loot out of this level and the rarity is high enough to get the liquid out of the chests...

and i dont know why level 4 have less chests and drops than level 3, balancing feels so weird, its harder, more enemies, but way less loot.

Tier 4 of the Hazardous ruins seems only to be there for the Silicon Chips atm. You need 10 of those to trade in for a item from the mysterious man. But for anything else it seems useless.

I got a load of Steel Wire the two times i been in there, tho... so if you ever need that just hit Tier 4 x.x

silicon chips (they are be needed for 2 crafts too, so i guess you choose the easy craft on that panbat quest? :P) drops from chest in #3 alot like any other items which drops way less in #4 :D

or maybe #4 drops way less for me, because it have less chests and i dont have the chance for double loot talent... i think i will test it again with that talent, just for fun..

Not the "Small" Silicon Chips - but the Actual Silicon Chips drop from the boss on tier 4. The only use i found so far is to trade 10 of them to the mysterious man ^^

they are the same #4 bossdrop and #3 chests (silicon chips are the grey ones with panthea logo)... i think you mean "simple circuits" (green ones) :P

I Actually am talking about the Silicon Chipset ^.~ It's green and has a grey chip on top. And the only way to get it, to my knowledge at this point, is to kill the boss in Tier 4 ^^

and you mean "2". so there is no "silicon chipset" or you play another version with another localisation, which could be the thing :D

Turned out it's near the end of the month and I got 20 Tempering Liquid free from #1 builder of the month.

I managed to finish 2, and just got the one last contract for it which I don't have the mats currently but it's sitting in my quest list so it's still mine. 3-1, I own Higgins hahaha

Be careful, because if you're rank 1 , Higgins will come at Commerce Guild at around 7:50 and wait near the door, he will enter as soon as Commerce Guild open and take the best contract. I had to race turning in the quest to Albert from home started at 7, then race to Commerce Guild at 8 just so I can get the last bridge contract. If we also come early there's always time to outspeed him.
