Sanwa and barbershop

So how to start this quest? i talked to sanwa but no new mission appear

You need to keep mining in the Abandoned Ruin #2. You find 2 strange glass that needs to be taken to the research center. It's apart of his quest.

Does the barber shop actually open after this is completed? I've yet to be able to go into the barbershop.

Actually this quest started for me only then, when I looted these glasses off the birds around hazardous ruins. The fact that I already had found 10 in the ruins didn't trigger it. But in any case either way starts it.

Did you get a quest for him after completeing the strange glass quest?

This quest doesn't continue right away. I talked to him a couple of days later and he accepted the glasses and was super happy. It doesn't show up in the mission log though.

Those two lens can be found in abandoned ruin #1 too

the quest still not trigger :/ is it eye glass? or another kind of glass?

It's eye glass. Just be patient, it obviously takes a while to trigger.

I have had up to 10 in my inventory at one time, no pop. but then i dug up two in ruin #1 and it popped. Could be random.

Also, what Wormonger said, you talk to him a few days after the eyeglass quest with the glasses in your inventory and he accepts them

I think you need gale to send out the mail about how he wishes sanwa was a barber again, also I got my glasses from the Pinebirds

Either it's a bit random or time-gated. In my case I already had 20+ lenses when I got the barber mail but took another week or so before the 'right' lenses were dug up (abandoned ruin #2 for me) and given to research. Then another couple days before I met Sanwa and gave the glasses.

I'm pretty sure the mail is set to a specific date but from then on its a lot of RNG.
