Can we re-customize our characters later on?
I love the character customization so far and I can't decide on the final look for my character but I really want to jump in and start playing. Will I be able to re-edit my appearance again later on if I want to change my hair colour for example?

Oh yes, we'll add it that ability for Phyllis later. But you can do the barbershop mission and do hair changes right now. :)

Wonderful! Coincidentally, I'll make a beeline for Phyllis for, uhm, companionship purposes~

She can actually reset your skill tree right now...for a fee. :)

Oh skill trees won't be the only thing I'll go to her for... Time to gather as many roses as I can~

Any update on this?

I sadly rushed my character (Mostly cause I went into this game blind and had no idea I would love it so much) and cause of it....he looks a bit meh and I would love to change him up to look better.
I know this was asked 6 months ago, and you guys are hard at work with the updates, but just wondering if this will get added. Or am I just missing it.

Well, it's six months after the last inquiry about character appearance change. I SO need a makeover. OMG..help! Any idea if the ability to change one's look will be implemented?

You have to unlock it with the colorblind glasses (you're given the mission when you have them). That unlocks the barber shop where you can make over your character's appearance.

I think you get them by digging laround the ruins.

My issue is that I want to change my skin color and eyemakeup. You can't do that..yet.

I want to change skin color :(

a year after and still cant?

I get why that'd be weird for gameplay reasons, but I would like to be able to build a respec mirror that included all the character creation options (including new voices)

Yeah,I would like there to be a way to change your looks again. I need to be able to re-customise my character, he looked fine in the character creator, but over time, I grew to realise how meh he is... WHY is it so hard to make a decent looking male character? xD.

The problem is the lighting in the "Create your character" room. Colors and tones are way brighter there. I had to redo my character very often because either the hair or the skin tone was a lot darker or paler than I intended. It's even worse when you select a make-up.

I've reached level 34 and only now I find I really need to have a total skin color makeover. Some places , when the lights go on at night my character's skin turns from a nice summer tan to a washed out dirty taupe... very ugly :(
Hope the creators of this adorable game are still working on implementing the total body makeover ???

The game's lighting is inconsistent throughout. You will always have a place or two where you look "ugly", so not sure if that's really a good reason for this.

That said, I don't see why we can't respec the looks same as we respec the skills just because we want to change things up a little.

Heck. Make a mini DLC with some new looks, costumes, Armors and what not (especially what not, cuz we need it) for a couple bucks. Have it include being able to do face, hair, body, make up, the works.

Those that are content with just being a character can skip it, no harm done. Those that want a big "it's so fluffy..!" top hat bunny suit (hint hint) with whatever lipstick color is popular this week can go do their thing.

Options. Always. Makes more players happy.

Cheers..!
