where are my save files located?

i just want to back them just in case.

I wish I knew.. I'm trying to play it on a different computer and can't seem to locate the save files.

A previous post says...

C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Pathea Games\MyTimeAtPortia
(replace username with your name on your computer)

...but I don't even have the AppData or following folders.

C:\Users\.....\AppData\LocalLow\Pathea Games\My Time at Portia is the file location if you do not have steam cloud saves enabled

edited to add: I'm not sure of location if cloud is enabled, sorry:/ however, the "MyTimeAtPortia" is a demo save location, or old build possibly, "My Time at Portia" is full version folder

Where are cloud files stored locally?
Cloud files are stored locally in the following locations by default:

PC: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata
Linux: ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata

FYI on Windows AppData is a hidden folder so you won't see it by default. By searching for 'appdata' or typing 'C:\Users\[your username]\AppData' in the explorer bar and hitting enter you can still go to the folder.
(You can also go into control panel, modify explorer settings to show hidden files & folders but generally that's not a good idea. That's how accidents happen ;-) )

Thank you! Searching for AppData showed no results but typing the full C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow brought up the folder and I was able to locate the files.
