Stat bonuses for items
Do you only get the bonus if the item is inside your house, or does it also work with it just being in the yard? Certain items just look better outside than inside and I was wondering if it's a waste to have them there or not.

Also, if you place accessories inside your house, do you still get those stat bonuses? Or is it only when worn?

Pretty sure it has to be inside the house. And while I can't say for sure, I don't think you can place equipment in the house. Stuff placed storage/cabinets doesn't count.

Mostly wondering about the Plant Rack. It looks too rustic to go inside, so I put it outside and filled it with plants. Wondering if those plants are still giving me bonuses. Hmm...

You can also put the items on the balcony/terrace once you have a bigger house - that counts as 'inside' for some weird reasons.

check the board inside your house, it lists all the items that are giving a bonus.

I'm pretty low on the "attack" aspect; I did notice that an artifact did give some benefit toward the "attack" listing; I wonder if that's it; Decorating your home with relics? *pondering*

Oh, that's depressing... I checked my home panel and none of the items I have on my shelves and displays give me bonuses. What's the point of displays then? I just have to put 800 hourglasses in my house and clutter everything instead of having them on a shelf?

I hope they will update this at some point.

Yeah got disapointed by this too. If you put relics on tables/shelves you get no bonus from them... for now I've put books, plate of food, honey pots and stuff like these instead... :/

I wonder if making the weapons rack will help... I can place all my other swords there... I wonder if that would help the "attack" aspect go up... books, food & honey pots... I didn't know the inside of the house would allow it... I'll check it out.
Thank you @Hina Nitta

not the inside of house, furnitures. things like tables and shelves. press E next to them and you'll be able to put things inside them.

The honey pots with the ribbon on them, have the highest stamia; I have them on every shelf. I those horribe washing maching I find while mining ~~ a total of 4 ~~ currently. I used to keep them in a trunk; I do have them out for whatever value they respresent; Until I can afford other things ~~ I guess my avatar is sleeping with 4 washing machine.
I cannot wait to be able to get all metal boxes ~~ I'm running out of room, with the current regular boxes. I tell you what; Having them placed in a double row in the house is definitly daunting. I moved them all inside the house, when I upgrade the station to level 2; Well, there they will remain, until I get level 3 station; However, as I often say, I'm usually broke; Which means, time to kill animals, rats, or gooey thingies; Grab the highest commisions... bla bla... make sure I kick every tree before I cut them, ie more point!
I did decide to give nemesis, Higgins; I've heard on the Wiki boards; If one doesn't they have him following them around wanting to spar; What a big dummy; If he wants to be No. 1 ~~ I don't care ~~ have at it!

being first make you earn some usefull items, like food that give permanent stat increase along with power stones and top tier accessories. It isnt difficult to achieve and definitely worth the trouble.
Weird that yoy got money issues, are you always bringing data discs to petra for her to unlock new machines for you ? Another easy way to make money is to buy big planters at the church, for data disk, and sell them when the market price is high. Same with excedent stone, make lot of stools with it and wait for a market raise to sell them.
But most importantly, upgrade your worktable to level 3 before anything else, then do what it need to make the fisherman axe and pickaxe. With these, everything will become way easier.

Yea, I don't have enough money for Level 3 Station; So, I've been going mining for the industrial engines I need for Higgins project; Needless to say, I'm just taking the highest commissions I can take & complete; However, I shouldn't have taken muscle man's request for his tea table; I am unable to open the book; Matter of fact, I'm having trouble opening any book I have; I wonder if it's all related to having Level 3 Station. So, I'm killing things, completing levels at the wasteland; I will finish the maze today, now that I know there are other exits. I got stuck at the end & couldn't believe I lost everything ~~ because I couldn't figure out an exit; Yes, yes, I didn't realize I could've used the map ~~ perdition! I killed that big dude rat & everything! I wish I could sell the expensive fish I've caught ~~ the king fishes worth 5,000 gols. I've got a ton of stones ~~ so, yes, I'll make some stools & table; The drying racks make the most gols; However, lately I need all the bronze bars I can make.
A big issue is: I still have gotten my cooking set? I did just begin to purchase things at the church; I wonder it that's the issue. I'm level 40+ ~~ you'd think I'd be cooking by now. Going into the maze today... now that I know where the other exits are located. It frustrated me to kill the big fat rat & not be able to exit; I truly thought; Okay, I won; Now, can I leave? I couldn't believe I was stuck at the end. I truly didn't think about going back; I was tired & it was lated; Today, I will hope over there in the morning ~~ fresh as a daisy. No time for romanced! Lol
p.s. How to I start a new discussion on this forum?

@Hina Nitta ~~ Thank You!

I have all the small accessories like the brosch, yellow surf board and so on, on display and on tables. They have good stats that don't count. Is this by design or not? Would really like their stats to count.

Accessories, like clothing, only provide stat bonuses while being worn, and that's by design as far as I'm aware (and is like most RPG-type games out there). The only things with stats that count towards buffs your house can give are furniture and relics.

For attack, I use Owl Clocks. For defense, I make Crystal Statues. Stamina is easily covered by Leather Sofas or Washing Machines. For health, I use Fans, Stuffed Bears, and Wall Lights.

OK, maybe you're right about the accessories. But small relics and flower vases loses stats when put on a table or desk. I don't want to have those on the floor.
