What is your daily routine in Portia?

Just a fun post about what you do when you first wake up in the morning in Portia! I'm nearing the end of the game, so just waiting for crystals to harvest...

1. Cuddle with hubby (Oak) and say hello to Scraps
1a. Get mail and items in bin

2. Check finished products in factory and replenish accordingly

3. Say hi and bye to friends who want a play date (so many of them)

4. Go around the city saying hello to Portians I want to be friends with for relationship points (usually Sonia, Django, Paulie, Mars, Carol, sometimes Arlo, Remington, or Lee and Nora)
5a. Give disc to Lee to boost relationship
5b. Buy recipe from Django

5. Buy roses from Alice/talk to Alice

6. Give rose to a Portian I want to increase relationship with (usually Mint or Gust)
6a. Give aroma apple to QQ

7. Check out Commissions Guild for tasks to do, also say hi to Antoine

8. Check Amber Island for growing crystals, usually say hi to Tody

9. I recently finished all the levels of the deep ruins, but this would be step 9

10. Anything else that needs to be done!

2. Go do a mission and block the door with my Llama so Higgins cannot get in

3. Go chop down trees or go mining

4. Look for any NPC missions popping up

5. Clear the area around my farm because gosh I prefer it a clean landscape

3. Ride the horse without petting it (somehow someone petted the horse)

4. Check mail, collect from resource box

5. Go to the Round Table, sell fishes, gift Sonia, Lee, Django & Tody (if he's there)

6. Go to the Flower Shop, buy Rose, Asteria, Celebration Flower, Succulant Plant, and Paper Flower

7.Gift whoever I passes on the way to the Higgins' (usually Russo and Mars)

8. STEAL FROM HIGGINS !

9. Go to the BB, gift Paulie, buy Short Stool, and Incense Burner also sell fishes

10. Go to the Total Tools, Buy 10 Power Stones, sell fishes

11. Go to the Clothing Store, buy Bikini, and Pigment

12. Gift Carol and Martha in the Plaza

13. Dash to the Commission Guild (usually it's 5 sec before 8.00 A.M)

14. Take the best commission and block the second best from Higgins so he randomly go the third best or the worst of the day lol, and gift Antoine

15. Go outside, Gift whoever I passes, then gift Presley at the cafe

16. Back to the Workshop, gift Ack, work on commish and hand them while doing my routine

17. Go to A&G, gift Albert, QQ and Gust, also sell Stool if I have them

18. Go to City Hall, gift Gale

(optional) Back to the Round Table, buy the 3 toys

19. Go to Papa Bear, gift him, Xu and Oaks (if he's there)

20. Go to the School, gift Lucy, Toby, Jack, Molly, Dolly and Polly

21. Go to the Research Center, gift Petra

22. Go to the Museum, gift Merlin

23. Go to the Barbershop, gift Sanwa

24. Go to the Portia Times, gift Mei (if she's there) and Erwa

25. Gift Isaac

26. Gift Ginger, Spar and RPS

27. Go to the Civil Corps, commission things I need (usually Mucus)

28. Go to Xu's Clinic, gift Phyllis (if she's there)

29. Go to the Church, gift Nora (if I didn't pass her)

30. Jump to the Tree Farm, gift Aadit (if I didn't pass him) and Dawa

31. Go to Sophie, gift her and Emily (if she's there), sell fish

32. Go to McDonald, gift him

33. Go to Harbor, gift Wuwa (if he's there) and sell fish

34. Go to the South Block, gift whoever I pass (usually Qiwa)

35. Sell fish, do the trade if I haven't, gift Yeye, Siwa and everyone there

36. Go to Dana's, gift her and finally,

37. Open the Social Tab, check for any person I missed (which usually I did, especially Arlo, Sam and Remington, and sometimes, Mint) and gift them, then back to the Workshop to plan the next move (Main Quest, Gathering, Mining, Relic Hunting, Fishing or Decorating)

After all of them are BFFs, remove all those giftings, usually I've done everything before 10 A.M

This is incredibly impressive! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your daily itinerary and learned many things from you!

I never thought of stealing from Higgins and beating him to the Commissions Guild early in the morning. Although, I have beaten Higgins before without knowing. I just naturally pick all the A and S assignments.

I also didn't know you can have both Pinky and Scraps as pets. But I am not a cat person, so I didn't really aspire to adopt Pinky. QQ on the other hand, I want him!

Stealing from Higgins and blocking him from the board can easily be missed, I wouldn't even know if I didn't try to mess around.

Yeah you kinda automatically adopt Scraps/Pinky once you reached certain relationship points (or, should I say, they force their way in to you LOL), if you're not a dog/cat person, then you wouldn't be able to max him/her out, and it's too bad the only way to adopt QQ is by marrying Gust.

It's crazy, feels like every burden and things I had in my mind just disappeared and felt accomplished, though sometimes I miss that moment when I had to gift everyone and do everything efficiently lol

Wow! I cannot believe the professional schedules all of you have: I admire each and everyone of you! My days vary & are usually sporactic, ie I'm on my 3rd character, Mae (all my characters do prefer to finish their commission & even deliver it on the same day. However, at times, it does not happen ~~ for whatever reason.)
Mae was working on a boombox for the panbat infestation at the Tree Farm. This mission type is a main mission with no time limit: So,I Iet it wait for a bit ~~ my main goal, this 3rd time around, is to take it easy and enjoy the story. (I'm still playing with the other two as well.)
However, today, for example, I realized, I did not have enough blue leather for the leather horn I needed (I did complete the loudspeaker, but found the boombox lovely with my 1st character, Sarah.) Each horn needs 9 blue leather & the boombox needed 2 leather horns (18 blue leather total). I also knew leather horns were commissioned often enough to warrant obtaining as much as possible; Of course, one can order them via Civil Corps; At this point, I was saving my gols for other important things: land & a future plant.
So I packed a lunch, snack & dinner, made my way to the Collapsed Wasteland for the wonderful day I would spend with all my delightful friends, eg blue devil slurpees, pink flurpee of death, pine**** & poppy**** shooting fireballs from their unmentionables and I cannot forget the adorable panbats & vampanda. In between all the fun fighting, I would pick at rocks, gather ginger & papaya, catch quite a bit of wisefish, cut down some trees, and even visit the toxic hazardous ruin. Lots of interesting acquaintances live there eg plierimps, slow gooeys, jump dancers (one of my favorites), and a masked fellow who thoroughly enjoys shooting poison at you with his rifle of darts. Oh, and how can I forget the unforgettable friendly bandirats & redrats. Of course, I ended up falling asleep while fishing, & woke with fishing rod in hand. Other days are quite normal ~~ then again, I'll spend the day mining & awaken with mining hat (light blaring) & pick in hand.

My original Builder, Rose, is a work-a-holic. Her schedule is:

1. Wake up, then go dump the previous day's haul in the factory and set it to work crafting whatever she has the most materials for (usually stone brick or glass).

2. Replant any crops that need it (Ack tends to glitch when it comes to replanting, like planting six rainbow flowers instead of three cotton and three rainbow flowers, despite having both seeds in his inventory).

3. Go pet her steed Domino, then it's usually just enough time to get to the Commerce Guild before Higgins while Domino blocks the door (didn't even have to train her to do that! So proud!).

4. Grab best Commission from the board, then sell any extra products from the factory or mining goodies to the vendors. She has a good stock of regularly requested commission items in her bags, so she'll often make an instant delivery. Otherwise, it's stop back at home quickly to craft/start assembly on the item then deliver.

4a (optional). Do some gathering while waiting for the Automatic Assembler to finish. Snakeberries, mushrooms, poop, etc.

5. After delivering the daily commission/doing inspections, it's strip mine the Somber Marsh Abandoned Ruins or run certain floors of the Deepest Ruin, depending on if she needs Tempering Liquid/Carbon Fiber, until she passes out and someone has to carry her to bed. Probably Arlo, since they're BFFs and he's used to it by now. XD

My current Builder, Windy's, schedule is:

1. Wake up, get in pets and hugs with Pinky if she's awake.

2. Replant any crops that need it, check the fish tanks, and check all crafting machines to see if she needs to add to the crafting orders or not. She doesn't have a factory yet, and Ack picks all the goodies up already.

3. Hop on her white horse, Cloud, to get to the Commerce Guild. Sometimes she beats Higgins, sometimes she doesn't, but she selects the best of what's left.

4. Stop next door at A&G Construction to give Soulmate Gust and QQ their breakfast and get a quick kiss and cuddle (Silly man hasn't proposed yet even though they're Soulmates. She'd propose herself, but she's heard rumors Gust has specific proposal plans.)

5. Craft/deliver commissions, make and fulfill wishes, and/or do any quests that pop up. Items 5 and 6 are often done at the same time (like selling on the way to deliver a commission).

6. Sell fish/items to vendors if it's a good market day. Buy supplies if prices are low (seeds, bait, baby formula and toys *cough*).

7. Then it's up to Eufala Heights to spend a stamina bar fishing Goliaths for gols, blue mackerel for commissions, and bladefish for Gust's Bacon Fish Rolls.

8. Pitstop back home to spend a couple hours in the massage chair to regain her stamina.

9. If the trees have regrown in the Desert, go cut them all down for poplar wood and palm jujube. Otherwise, go to Abandoned Ruins 2 or the Desert Abandoned Ruins, depending on what ore she's low on. Occasionally she'll go on a bloodstone run (mining the largest rocks in Portia/the Collapsed Wasteland only).

10. Be home by 2200 or thereabouts. Pet Cloud and send her to bed. Get goodies from the box next to the mailbox, then sort everything into their respective chests. Check machines, fish, and crops once more. Go inside her house a little after midnight, give Pinky her daily fish for being such a good kitty, then it's bedtime.

Wow, you are doing 3 different stories? I'm sticking just to my main one for future DLC, content, and maybe expansions. I've grown accustomed to my character, my hubby Oaks, and how everything went. I have a hard time letting go and moving on. I hope to save enough money one day and maybe adopt children. I hope Oaks will be okay with that...

Wow! Your schedule would have been very similar to mine midway my game back at that time. I'm also very invested in my builder's lives, but also very invested in my relationships.

After playing the game The Sims for so many years, this game definitely helped me to move on! Thank you for taking the time and patience to write all that!

Oh @magicscimmer I am thoroughly invested in all my characters ie Sarah, Emma & Mae; However, I made sure to try & keep myself behind the curtain (like the wizard of oz), so to speak, (keep my distance) because I am such an emotional/ sensitive individual. My Sarah married Arlo ~~ they are both so much alike ie workaholics & fighters (she was so lost in her first real video game) ~~ Sarah is a survivor & warrior. Oh there are special moments to be sure ~~ however there is always a mini fight that goes along with it ~~ Sarah wouldn't have it any other way. Heck, the two of them spar with each other daily. No kids. No one's ever home.
My Emma is completely different. Emma is balanced. She socializes ie attends the festivities (Sarah only did the martial arts ~~ and cooking ~~ what cooking?); Emma involves herself in secondary missions, which Sarah did not notice or do. Emma is pretty much, not in so many words, a well rounded likable individual. Married Gust ~~ which surprised her. He's a true gentleman & a scholar. Oh, he's not perfect and neither is Emma; Needless to say, they both fit nicely together. They have a son, named "Dev," in honor of all the developers who made the lovely world of Portia come alive with magnificant beauty & magic. Now Mae, who knows, she will show what direction she wants to go. Portia is like that... the game can be played a thousand different ways...

LOL! I did the same thing with all the gifting trips! Feels like an acrobatic santa sometimes trying to gift everyone effieciently haha. The only not yet BFF on my main chara is Yeye, Dawa, and Ginger now. I keep forgetting abt Ginger even tho my char is married to Gust now.

But I never did all those shoppings on my dailies before. Are those for gifts?

Anyway, my dailies are the same with most posters up there but I usually have an alternating schedule in a week after I finish daily comission. Like:

Day 1 Strip mine Abandoned Ruins #1 till pass out

Day 2 Stone Run from near Abandoned Ruins #1 (just a few rocks) jump to the west wall from cafe - run to east wall - go up to Bassanio Falls and jump to Colapsed Wasteland. If I have time left I collect gingers near the Poppycock area too and take a deedee to Amber Island and ravish all the boulders and crystal.

Day 3 Strip Mine Abandoned Ruins #2/Somber Marsh Mine till pass out

Day 4 Rest Day, lazying or just strolling around enjoying the amazing scenery if the sun is out. If not, Deepest Ruin it is.

Day 5 Eufaula rampage; poplars, jujube, killing snakes and snailbobs for fun then strip mine there.

Day 6 Red Mushroom day (cause I love using the blade fish stew or what was the name, 35% stam! Less spammy than using dried apples) while logging the tree farm here and there. Take deedee to Collapsed Wasteland and forage the mushroom on the Somber Marsh Island.

Day 7 Fishing day! I alternate my fishing spot depending on the best view/mood cause I got sick of fishing goliaths non stop/the Collapsed Wasteland pond view too bleak for my mood/the desert spot is too bright.

I tried to be outside as much as I can when the sun is out. I switch my schedule if its raining or cloudy outside and do something indoors like mining or rearranging the house decor. But I always try to stick to a theme for a day.

On my 2nd builder I don't do the gift runs early game anymore and just rely on birthdays, festivals, and comissions to get relationship points except for Gale (cause land is hella expensive), Aadit, and Ginger. I wanna savour the scenery more and take it slow on the main mission.

3: Leave house and collect from materials box.

4: Collect crafted materials from crafting stations. Refuel as needed.

5: Fertilize crops. Harvest and replant as needed.

6: Pet horse. Feed horse.

7: Ride off on horse and locate Higgins. Beat the snot out of him. Ruin his pathing to the commissions office if he hasn't been there already.

8: Take on daily commission.

9: Socialize with Portians. Give gifts when feeling charitable.

9a: Take on requests from Portians.

10: Beat up the defense force. They've been slacking off on leveling lately.

11: Check on crafting stations again. Collect crafted materials and refuel as needed.

12: Commissions and requests work.

13: Gather resources. Kill monsters. Excavate ruins.

14: Check on crafting stations again. Collect crafted materials and refuel as needed.

15: Give Pinky snuggles.

16: Sleep.

I do remember my routine like this earlier in the game.

Once you get married, have more BFFs, and buy a factory, your list will become less and more enjoyable.
