New Albert Mission (Huge spoiler! Be warned!)

Huge spoiler ahead if you haven't done the new Albert mission and don't want to know what it's about! You have been warned!


So, I just started the new Albert and Sonia mission and I'm not going to be able to finish it for a while (I need the Mysterious Man to show up because I just started a new month and I don't have a the correct ring), but does anyone who has successfully completed this quest have an idea as to if this takes Sonia and Albert out of the pool of marriage candidates? If so, this is a new game mechanic!

I completed it and a Sonia one about marketing face cream. It doesn't seem to remove either one, they still show up for play dates and make comments that don't indicate any difference. Then again, I am not interested in either one as a marriage candidate so I haven't tried to date either one. I have just gone on the assumption that it is like Dawa and Dana dating or Arlo and Nora - something talked about but other than making it a little more difficult to confess not a big deal.

It doesn't remove the option to marry either one. Don't want to spoil for you why, unless you want to know

I'm almost to the end of the season, so I'm about to be able to see what happens! Ahhhhhh, so excited!

And I think Albert is pretty rich, at least according to himself, unless I'm misremembering.

This may sound old fashioned; However, it is nice when the guy gets the ring; The female ends up spending so much more money on other things ie apparel; The wedding attire (at the church) is beyond expensive; My one character, Emma got married in the one dress she had. Took pics at another time in the wedding gown, when she could afford to purchase it. The first go around, which she didn't realize ~~ had to sleep in the dress; The wedding took place with her with mining hat & pick in hand; There was nothing she could do about it until it was over ~~ the cut scene kept her locked in place. The woman behind the curtain, that would be me ~~ definitely laughed about it for a week ~~ maybe more ~~ I'm not sure. Of course, Emma had to start over the day.

I don't think you need the ring from the Mysterious Man, if I am correct he asks for a Sapphire ring which you can make on your workbench

There's more than one option. If you answer Albert one way, he asks you for a sapphire ring. A different answer leads to a different branch and a different ring request.

They kissssed! Which I guess counts as her saying yes and them getting married? Very low key, considering how fancy stuff oriented they both are, but that's okay. I'm pumped. We haven't been able to get characters together like this before. Who will we be able to pair up next?

Too late for me to go back, I don't feel like repeating a months worth just to see a baby go around town. Nor making a new playthrough for it.

IMO they should allow it to be repeatable maybe a year after or so since Albert is the type to not give up
