Also, in case you aren't aware, the Electric Furnace only processes aluminum bars and magnesium powder. It is NOT a direct upgrade of the Industrial Furnace. Some people (myself included my first playthrough) are fooled into thinking it is. If that helps the urgency any...
I can't remember how many discs it takes for the furnace but you are probably giving her to many so try 5 or 10 discs
2nd, according to the MTaP Fan-Wiki[mytimeatportia.fandom.com], there are only 4 blueprints that require 20 discs; of those 4, only 3 require 6 days of research. If you have the Recycling Machine, then you only need another 20 discs. If you don't have the Recyling Machine, then you have a 50% chance of waiting 6 days for the Furnace. Restarting the day could help.
