Outside walls of lvl 4 Home

I know you can buy flooring and wallpaper. I thought if you upgraded the last lvl 4 home it would fix the plaster and falling off wood on the outside. NOPE. waste of space and Gols. I can't find any store or hint on how to fix up the outside of a max lvl home. It looks like it needs paint or spackle but No where to buy siding or paint for outside. If I missed the obvious please let me know. Yes I tried the customize pigment options and the outside does not care what you do. It will not answer keys or customizing. Thanks Its the small things that make us Wacky.

That's just how it is.

There is one more house "upgrade"[mytimeatportia.fandom.com] available, though it's entirely aesthetic and is pretty expensive.

That's just how it is. Yup you are correct No changing the outside.
I cancelled the final upgrade because I would rather use the land for
growing crops and showing my relics than useless HUGE same inside
expensive upgrade.

Do me a solid and zoom your capture. Look carefully at the front side facing us.
You will see the issue I was seeing, broken and chunks missing. The Devs
may have meant for that to be aged. But to me it looks like it needs painting or
repairs. I started the upgrade at 90k and a ton of resources and then saw
the same ugly texture. I canceled because the outside takes up 20% more
and no change in the outside textures.

That's kind of this game's "aesthetic". Everything looks beaten up, broken, or hobbled together. I struggle with the inspection game sometimes because literally everything looks bad when you're zoomed in lol!

I sacrificed some farm plots in order to upgrade my house to the final "look". Honestly, looks over the top considering the conditions everyone else in town lives in (Alice's house is just depressing!). I understand that this is a post apocalyptic world and people are just hobbling together the remainders of a previous society, but I wish end game would include the ability to snazz up some people's homes, businesses, etc.
