Bachelor Opinion/Suggestion

I know that the demo only showed a few of the male love interests, however I wish there was a wider selection of more visually appealing men. I find a lot of the girls unique/attractive but very few guy characters (minus Arlo he's the only one I find interesting). Is there any way that new bachelors will be added?

Are the similar-looking brothers going to have updates to their avatars? I think I read they're bachelors, which takes away some of the actual selection given their similarities between each other.

To be fair I will say that Arlo, Aadit, Xu, Tody and to some extent Remongton (it's the fluro green hair) look fine and seem to have their acts together. But please allow me tell you what I think of the other bachelor options:

- Antoine is clearly not into women, so we just can't go there.
- Oaks wears rags, rumages through peoples bins every afternoon and I can only assume he's a nutty homeless boy who hangs out with a bear in a dressing gown all day.
- Gust is a pompus snob who I mistook for a female for way too long.
- Albert obviously has a mad crush on Ginger who I can't compete with cos I have only 4 hair style options and wear boys' clothes.
- Django is awesome! Who doesn't want to marry a knight! Well technically he's a restaurant owner who talks about his sword a lot :) But what is wrong with his face? What did you do!

- However, the worst disappointment: Liuwa, Sanwa, Qiwa and Wuwa (the brothers that look almost identical). If you were going to make 4 identical looking bachelors at least make them cute. Please say it aint so... no it can't be true :p

Actually I was considering going for big, simple Paulie, until I realised he wasn't an option.

This might all seem a bit harsh, and maybe it looks a bit sad on my part, but it had to be said! I'm sure plenty of man fans would agree. Please fix the bachelors :D it would make the game SO much more interesting if I this part of the game were more engaging.

I like Oaks. I thought of Oaks kinda like Linus from Stardew Valley. The old hermit who chose to live alone in the woods in a tent and rumaged through trash cans.

I don't understand how you jumped to that conclusion. I asked if there were going to be updates to their avatars because the four of them look the same, save for different colours, and their dialogue is similar even though their professions are different. If those brothers are 4 separate eligible bachelors, and there are an equal amount of bachelors and bachelorettes, you have 4 that bachelors that look and talk the same while all bachelorettes look and speak unique to their characters. Brothers are fine, even similar-looking are fine, the way Gust and Ginger look similar, but they should still have unique personalities and physical attributes so that you aren't just filling 4 spots with essentially the same character.

I was kidding but yes you shouldn't just go for attractive people only most attractive people are arrogant and vain and can be down right nasty..

That said i agree the game is one sided marriage wise to men.

And honestly a lot of women do that already (admittedly some of them are more interested in wallet size than looks). And this is a game, fantasy. Also "don't judge a book by its cover" can go both ways, I wouldn't say "most attractive people" are arrogant and vain... some sure but especially since this is a game, someone can be attractive and nice. ;) All part of the fantasy right?

Eh, I'm fine with the Guy options. I'm romancing Gust bc he's a pompous rich kid and I love those types in these kinds of games. Big critique for Stardew was that none of
the Bachelor(ettes) were rich. 😂 Arlo & Dr. Xu is nice, Oaks is cute, Albert looks kind of meh but he seems like a hard-worker. Overall I think there's still a lot of diverse options to pick from with guys, nice that you can romance older guys like Django and Aadit too.

The girls are sweet but they feel kind of same-y to me except for maybe Sam and Petra.

Gust and Ginger are siblings?? That is SO not what I thought...lol

Meanwhile, I love Arlo. He's tall, he has a lovely voice, and he's cute. I'll take him just as he is...well, with more dialog preferably

I actually like most of the bachelor's. I think my problem is that on the male charcters the unattractive features are exaggerated within the art style. The features seem unrealistically large even for this cartoon style.

Is it just me that find most male candidates too old looking? Like Aadit and Django? (Honestly, Django looks like he straigt jumped out of a 'who is it' game. Does your Character have a long jaw, huge chin and a weird beard? Is your Character Django?)

Moving on.. Albert, Tody and the thick Bro's look super old too. Gust I want to throw of a bridge, (I rather date his pig, that just says it all.) Remington is not my type, Antoine is clearly gay, Xu is kinda cute but something is wrong with his mouth region imo, Arlo's voice I find highly offputting. Which only leaves Oaks. The only male Character that I actually like. Meanwhile the girls are actually cute and unique. Which makes having 7 brothers that look exactly the same really unfair. (The brothers look old af too. Like uncles that when you ask them what their hobby is and they answer: "Drinking beer". Thats exactly how they look like. ALSO THE GIRLS LOOK ALL YOUNG! Except Lucy maybe, she looks a bit more "mature".)
