is it possible to beat the spider

Shoot to Spider claws, and then in the head. At the moment we are working on update where we will change balance and make the bosses easier.

You can dodge the spider melee attacks by crouching. Shotgun works great against it but isnt necessary. Use the side ledges and dodge the acid projectiles by jumping. You can shoot the clawed forearms off easily from these positions dealing heavy damage to the spider and also preventing melee attacks, shooting both off is the best way to kill it quickly. When it regens you can keep shooting to interrupt it, it takes a lot of ammo to die though.

ps: open up the side wall to the left of the lair entrance for a checkpoint machine.

is shooting it in the claws supposed to do damage?

They dont damage the spider directly when you shoot them; only when they are destroyed, then you have to shoot the head to finish the spider off.

i just beat it, the snag shot gun is really good for it. just blow off the left and right front claws then its face like the dev said
