mining truck might be a zombotron before everything went to Wack.
I think it will be Cool to have a Zombotron with Multiplayer.
Multiplayer is not feasible for this title unfortunately, and while Arcade mode would be cool it's outside the scope of what we're currently considering.
It does not have NG+ at this point, but it is something we are exploring for a future update! What sorts of features would you want to see in a NG+ mode?
Personally, the ability to play the game with all of your equipment you had at the ending only with more monsters and stronger monsters would be pretty fun. Or have certain equipment that's only available in New Game+ cycles (like special guns or armor, etc.) would be rad.
I just like replaying games that give me an incentive to do so, and oftentimes NG+ unlocks are a good way for me to get into that.
Like, I played a ridiculous amount of that indie game "Convoy" just because I'd unlock new stuff and end up playing it all over again with the unlocks. Kind of a bad example since Convoy and Zombotron are entirely different styles of games, but I only cite it because it's a good example of keeping me hooked long after I'd beaten it and the game was already past its lifecycle.
Past the initial point where the player doesn't take the game seriously and get OS by the yellow robots, I had never felt danger afterward. Even at the "Ambush" of the Scavengers, I was like, that's easy? I had an improved AK, and I was slaugthering them without any issues. Not talking about the incentives that the NG+ could give, another layer of difficulty could be good, whether in NG or in NG +.
At the same time, it is just the opinion of a more "git gud" player, not necessarily your main audience. This could always be added after many things, or maybe not even added. But a difficulty, easy/medium/hard would be good for everyone, with maybe a "nightmare" in NG+. That way, people finishing the game in easy could try a NG+ in normal, then hard, then nightmare. So they played 4 times the game.
