Worth playing through?

Recently got this game for free. I have never played a xcom game before. Worth playing through?

Well.. This is not really an XCOM, more of a crossover between XCOM and Mass Effect 2.
Still,it is nice game, i had some fun with it.
But if you want real Xcom, just buy XCOM:Enemy Unknown

In short:It is, but don't expect too much.

Yes it's a good fun game - it would have had better reviews if it wasn't used XCOM in the title

No it's actually quite terrible, just finished playing through it, and honestly, I turned the difficulty down to get through it faster and ignored the conversation. They wanted a Mass Effect game, but didn't put in the effort. Trust me, go play something else. If you literally have nothing else, Warframe is a free game that will give you hours of fun. Try that.

Im 9hrs in and id say its worth it :D Dont treat it like an XCom game gameplay wise, but it will introduce you to what xcom plot is about
