Impossible to get "One Finger Salute" Achievment on HTC Vive.

It is impossible to get "One Finger Salute" Achievment on HTC Vive now.
I've tried so many moves and buttons with that cop but got nothing!

Any advices or fix please?

make sure you uninstall HL2VRU (Unleashed) if you have installed that mod, it's known to break the one finger gestures.

As you know, there are no option to use Middle finger, Ring finder and Little finger by itself with HTC Vive controller. The grip button trigger them in group. So I can't press "only middle".

P.S. I didn't download "Half-Life 2: VR Mod - Unleashed". Only steam version of the mod. Also reinstalled it.

You don't need separate finger controls for that. I did it with WMR controller. You only need to press one button(grip?), turn your controller appropriately(in-game palm should be up), and point at someone.

can also confirm I couldn't get this to work on the vive wands and I had no mods installed, I tried a variety of key combinations and holding my hand out in various ways, I could only get the index finger to point and that doesn't count. Luckily I own a pair of index controllers and those worked instantly.

So what fingers should be "released"? According to your controller?

I definitely held only one button but I can't remember exactly was it grip or trigger.

No way. It doesn't work with HTC VIve controllers.
I've spent 10 more minutes trying to fix my hand in different positions, pressing different combination of fingers. No way, bugged (not optimised)

Don't forget you also have to point at someone or it won't activate.

Interestingly enough, it works splendidly with the Rift S controllers. By using the trigger whilst pointing the back of your hand at someone, you flip 'em off :)
