INSTALL:

1. Put the all folder "ep2" "episodic" and "HL2VR" in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 VR folder.
2. Start "Mod Organizer" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 VR\HL2VR
3. Select in the list down below "zDak" and put it by drag&drop and scroll above on the No.1 place of all texture packs.
4. Start SteamVR
5. Just do only start the game by the RUN button in "Mod Organzier". (You can t start in VR!)

Thats it! :-)

If you have further questions consult the github link! ;-) But all files there are in this pack!

Anyone else getting some floating items? Tried this modlist and it looks great, but some items are floating above the ground.

For some reason trigger animations end up breaking when using something in this package. Example, Alyx climbing up the ladder on eli's lab to check on some machine, she just stands there doing nothing and tposes at one point. Or Dog grabbing the large trash bin to throw at you but stops, just stands still while the trash bin moves around on it's own.
I checked the console and got errors related to them, it says the animations from the triggers are missing or something.

Sorry to say , but this mod destroys the entire game. at least for me.
I also added the zdark pack.
It worked at first. Played the first 30 minutes....
now some game updates later:
reloading or shooting is no longer possible. The guns acts strange: when i press the fire button, the pistol slide moves backwards... one bullet disapears in the pistol counter, but the pistol does not fire. Same strange movements/flying objects out of nowhere also happened from time to time.

Also with all these different mods in this collections, its hard to tell what mod broke what.

What makes it worse: With this mod pack you cant tell if you just broke the VR mod, or if the vr mod got a bug... frustating.

So i suggest, only try this "mod on a mod" out of curiosity. but dont't expect a "better" Half Life 2 VR Mod you can play from start to finish with it.

The thing is - with Mod Organizer you start with the .bat the original Half Life 2 and not the HL2VR Mod in Steam. You should see it in your Steam.

I think you intalled Mods in original Half Life 2. Perhaps that caused your problem.

for me: I fresh-installed Half Life 2 Vanilla (because i used Fake Factory Cinematic Mod) and after that installed HL2VR in the same Steam-Common-folder. After THAT i started the Mod Organizer for the first time.

Works perfect and i installed the SEXY Alyx model and other combine 2k Textures-Res Models too without a problem.

The ♥♥♥♥ thing is (i just said it before): With Mod Orginizer you start Half-Life 2 (not VR) so the PLAYTIME you get is in Half-Life 2 Vanilla - think it is bad for the statistic for the HL2VR-Mod :(
