Do i need 2 engines?

The foundation counter says i have 85 blocks tho i have a second floor wich i dont think the counter detected or idk, when i had 1 engine the movement felt kinda slow, i got 2 now but it feels kinda the same :S
Any info about engines? :P

Floor blocks are not foundation blocks. They are called different for a reason. Only foundations (so the ones you build with plastic) are counted towards your foundation limit.

Edit: Also, it seems I was wrong about the number of engines and the max speed.
The wiki says multiple engines can impact your maximum speed.

If my testing is reliable, at maximum speed you can cross 146 receiver units per minute,

and the link by ColdFish should have a table summarizing speeds with different rafts & engines.

you can never over speed your swim speed so you can always get back to your raft if your in the water and the engine(s) running. so fastest speed is not much more then the slower speed(s). I personalty try to minimize the amount of floating raft pieces so you only need one engine. I've never built one with as many floating raft pieces as yours playing in easy,normal or hard only when playing with passive, or creative. no need for it build up and out then don't worry about needing more then one engine. really 8 raft floating pieces is minimal if you want an engine, water filter and anchor, everything else can go up. All of the nets do not need to be connected to raft floating pieces, min one. I like to go 15-20 wide in nets and 3x3(4) for my main raft and two for the anchor down on the nets.
