Of all leaderboard, New York Hypercar is the worst to be an example, it's mostly not car dependent.
Bingo!
Hell, last time I checked said leaderboards, the first place on the New York run was one of the Paganis that top out at 278mph or so while most others are in the 285-290 area...
So even if other cars are technically "faster" means nothing when a driver can win or set records with a slower car.
So it is purely based on driver when it comes to fully upgraded cars.
Even the drag races are all about reaction time, the Corvette is supposedly the "fastest" but then on the leaderboard I kept seeing Porsches and a bunch of others in the top spots.
LOL uh oh guys!
We got an internet tough guy in here.
This broken game is serious business to this guy here.
Don't upset his delicate sensibilities, this crap is deadly serious.
That was sarcasm by the way... Don't want that to fly over your head like the Bugatti Chiron that goes airborne over any little hill.
Also, they wiped the leaderboards a day or two ago.
I also never said I was beating OTHER top players by 1-2-3 minutes, I was beating my best times of a faster car with a car that was technically slower. I also mentioned driver skill over car a few times as well.
My best time so far is 28 50 something in the New York race. Which as someone else pointed out was a bad race to use for comparing what would be the fastest car since that race has the most shortcuts and exploits.
Try some reading comprehension in the future before ham fisting your keyboard with an angry response.
Sure OP asked for fastest car, and we told them what the objectively fastest car was without a driver, but when it came down to actual times (you know, what is usually considered fastest), it is ALL on the driver as someone in a much slower car (Pagani) beats the supposed fastest car (Lava Magma Thing) in the leaderboards, and there will likely be many more as the boards repopulate.
Since you are so filled with gamejock rage right now, let me break it down for you... Objectively the fastest car is not the fastest car when the slowest driver is driving it. There is no "fastest" car other than the car YOU can drive the fastest. In this case I think fastest DRIVER would be a better term, or "Person that uses the most shortcuts, bugs, and game exploits".
Also, as part of the reading comprehension remark I made, you might want to cool your jets a bit before pounding on your keyboard with your ham fists in a fit of gamejock rage cussing someone out, and making a response to the WRONG PERSON.
"I" was the only one mentioning beating my Bugatti times with the Egoista by a few minutes.
Now subjectively... I Think the Egoista is much more pretty than the Bugattis. Unless someone wants to prove the Egoista is subjectively better looking. Gamejock here will likely need math and peer reviewed essays to believe it.
This is pure comedy gold. I literally have tears in my eyes from laughing.
Ha! You should see what I got banned from off topic for!
Oooh, dude, I'm very sorry, I misunderstood you. Your phrase just sounds like that: "I can usually beat Bugatti in the 30 minute race" - "usually" and "30 minute race", that's why I thought that you usually overtake someone, not yourself. I don’t understand how you can usually overtake yourself. Usually. *jackiechanface.jpg*
But I know English very poorly, so I understood it in my own way, because I spent the half of the game in the NY race, I raced it with all HC many times, and I constantly have situations when newbie players often take Bugatties, and at the end of the race there is no reason to wait for them.
That's right, because you can either compare cars by driving on them yourself (it doesn’t matter which track it is, you just have to do the same thing on different cars), or compare drivers.
And I also wanted to convey the idea that it makes no sense to argue which car is the fastest, and that you should not blindly trust leaderboards, because you need to think with your own head and try other cars. My problem is that I answered everyone right away on my non-native language, and sometimes used "you" as "everyone who think so ", not "you specifically", and I don't know how to write my thoughts in detail yet, so I making a response not to the wrong persone, it's okay.
This is really funny when people start figuring out which car will bring their аsses before the rest.
xDD I don't know, why do you think so, I just don't pay attention for this, it's other people write to me about this usually. So maybe it's you have delicate sensibilities? :P
[small print] I can only say that they met me like that in many forums, and then also stopped paying attention to it, but it should not matter, I don’t want to seem special, just don’t think that I feel any negative emotions, everything’s good :) [/small]
Hey, do you know what else is funny in this thread?
Oh yeah :D
Thanks for this, Jo! =)
Good call. I did the same.
LOL says the guy that started belittling people first, then tried to hide behind the "i No SpEaK eNgRiSh tOo GoOd." crap excuse.
The only one looking pathetic here is you.
You better quit while you are behind, unless you want to keep entertaining us.
Beautiful!
Like I said, this game is balanced to the point of annoyance. Certain cars should be blisteringly faster or freakishly slower than others, but at top level pretty much everything comes within a second or two of the top, and it all comes down to the driver.
